Castello di Montignano

Gorgeous property for a wonderful wedding. I was recently married at Castello di Montignano this summer and could not have had a better experience. Weddings of course have their moments of insanity and problems but the owner and staff here were wonderful and helped problem solve in every capacity. The property itself is beautiful with a park and pool and gorgeous vistas of the countryside and sunflower fields and the rooms are comfortable and unique and spacious. The building is all beautiful stone, the breakfast buffet was excellent and the reception of everyone was warm and welcoming. The staff helped coordinate wedding details as well and their knowledge of the vendors and local area was extremely helpful. We had a boutique and intimate wedding and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out and I can't wait to go back and visit. Thank you to Giuseppe the owner and Nicole the in house wedding planner along with the rest of the staff for a fantastic experience!! <3

We got married here on 26/08 and it was a magical experience. Incredible location that hosted all of our friends and family, the staff were fantastic in the build up to the wedding and on the day itself to ensure we had a great time.

Truly gorgeous venue for our fall wedding. Located at the top of one of Umbria's many rolling hills, the castle offers a stunning view of the countryside. The castle itself is well-preserved, with modern updates, yet still retains its rustic charm. We've gotten so many compliments, not only from our wedding guests who were able to experience in-person, but from our extended friends and family upon seeing our wedding photos. The service and hospitality were exceptional. Every detail of the decor and the menu was customized to our preferences. The meal was one of the best we've ever eaten and we still hear compliments from our guests! Staff were so warm and just enthusiastic about helping us have the perfect day. Would highly recommend. This is a very special place. We do plan to visit again. Perhaps for an anniversary trip :)

I travelled over to Castillo do Montignano for a wedding and it couldn’t have been any better. We stayed in the castle and our room was amazing with a great view of the pool and the surrounding countryside. The wedding itself was held by the pool and then inside a built marquee. The food was absolutely delicious and the wine was perfect. The service was the best I’ve ever received at a wedding, with the bar man being so attentive. Will definitely be back

We got married in the church on site at Castello Di Montignano in August 2023.

We had a three day celebration starting with a pasta party, the wedding day and finally a pizza party at the pool garden.

Our guests were blown away by the venue and continuously complimented the venue, food and scenery. Everyone was so relaxed and just enjoyed themselves!

We were so lucky to find a venue with a church, a pool and accommodation all on site but having Giuseppe and Nicole manage the venue was the real bonus!

We had the best three days ever and would do it all again next Summer if we could!

Giuseppe and Nicole were exceptional and went above and beyond for us over the three days, we can’t thank them enough for the experience we had.

All our friends and family are just hoping we renew our vows in 10 years’ time so we can celebrate all over again!!

I cannot recommend Castello Di Montignano enough as a wedding venue, it’s really one in a million. Fantastic venue for anyone who wants to celebrate, have fun and a stress free wedding!

If you choose the Castello di Montignano for your wedding, you will collaborate with a very communicative staff which tries to fulfill all kind of wishes. The communication, in fact, was really fast and efficient. The support at the place the big day itself was marvelous! Everything went the way it meant to go.

Absolutely stunning place! We visited ahead of our wedding and the team there were so incredibly helpful and welcoming. Very excited to return in September!

We got married at CDM in April 2022 and we honestly had the best weekend of our lives. Our wedding was initially planned for April 2020 but had to be rescheduled several times due to covid. Beatrice and her team made this a seamless and stress-free process and this was our experience from start to finish. From organising the individual events, the vendors and suppliers and the accommodation, Beatrice was also able to help with information about the surrounding area and anything else we needed to make our wedding as perfect and personal as possible. We felt totally at home at this beautiful venue and the staff were incredible. Our guests had the best time and said it was the best wedding and venue they'd ever been to! We loved every minute and can't wait to come back - thank you!

Wonderful location for any special event, wedding or a private party! Great food, very cosy atmosphere where you can really relax, fantastic swimming pool, and very helpful and friendly staff!

WOW what a location so beautiful!! We where guests to a wedding in the hotel and stayed 4 days and it was just great very friendly people. Good room, nice swimming pool good food! 10/10 👌👍

Castillo Di montignano is a fantastic place for a wedding venue or to stay whist touring Umbria lots of interesting towns and villages althought sat navs are not the best way to get around Google maps are good trips to Assisi are a must see

Great Hotel with the most friendly and helpful staff you will ever meet .location is picture perfect and great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of other more busier tourist spots.
