We recently stayed at this Farmhouse, and it was marvelous in every sense. The rooms were spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, ensuring a comfortable stay. The house itself offers plenty of space with a well-equipped kitchen and large dining area perfect for gatherings.

The facilities are top-notch, especially the outdoor pool. One of the standout features is the stunning views from every angle, providing breathtaking panoramas of rolling hills and lush greenery. The sunsets were simply mesmerizing.

Overall, our stay was unforgettable. This property is perfect for anyone seeking a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended!

We stayed with family and friends and we just had the best time! It is a lovely home with stunning views, the highlight of our day was sharing a meal on the terrace watching the sunset. The pool was very relaxing and fun, the house is also well equipped for children - looking forward to visiting again, thank you!

This home is heaven on earth! Rustic elegance at it's finest with all the authentic charm of an Italian country home. Our host made wonderful recommendations for day trips, boat rentals, tennis lessons, massages, and restaurant dining as well as home cooked meals by local chefs and also cooking lessons with Michelin Star Chef Alessio,. The home was well appointed with everything needed for your comfort. Great hiking trails, and shopping nearby. The pool is perfect and the view breathtaking.

I give Casale Degli Olivia a top rating. The house is beautiful, charming, authentic, spacious and has spectacular views from all rooms. The property offers such divine areas to sit or lay and take in the Umbrian colors and panorama. You must see the view to believe it! Each of us enjoyed our afternoon naps in the different terraces, the garden and around the amazing pool deck overlooking the mountains. It is almost as if we had the house each to ourselves.

Bring a big group of people to Casale. It lends itself to gathering together for drinks, meals and all the après. You can enjoy your breakfast outside the kitchen overlooking the rosemary bushes and olive trees. Later lunch and dinner you must sit viewing the mountains. Unless of course it is chilly then there is the formal dining room.

We had three couples which worked perfectly with the three ensuite master bedrooms. One downstairs, and two upstairs in different ends of the corridor.

You can’t ask for a better host. Rolando made everything easy, available and top quality. He arranged for a private cook which we used for four dinners. How ideal to arrive the first day to have a four course dinner prepared and served. Separately, Rolando’s friend, a Michelin star London trained chef, gave us a cooking class with lunch and on our final day he prepared our surprise dinner. We only did one food shopping our entire stay!

Other activities that our host arranged for us are: tennis, boating and private tours of Perugia. There is much more he can organize for you. I highly recommend to come to Casale degli Olivia.

We enjoyed 2 wonderful family weeks in this charming farmhouse with its tranquil, relaxing setting in May. Beautiful countryside with stunning views all around. Very helpful and friendly owner, the house is generously well equipped. It is also a perfect starting point to explore Umbria with its many picturesque hilltop towns or nearby Tuscany. Lago di Trasimeno, Perugia or Assisi are also not far away. We will certainly come again.

Everything we liked about Casale degli Olivi last year we enjoyed this year, too:
Its beautiful position with the stunning views, its tranquility and the fact that the house is so generously well equipped for all needs.
What is more, like last year we felt again very well looked after by our host Rolando.
Also, the accessibility of all the attractions in the area from the house is great, Perugia, Lago di Trasimeno, Assisi, Gubbio, or smaller hilltop towns like Montone or Panicale, for example, are all within easy driving distance.
In short, perfect holidays!

The sun is glistening on the pool, the scent of lavendar, rosemary, stephanotis and laurel hang in the air and with a cool glass of rose in hand you survey the surrounding countryside, the chatter and laughter of friends and children in your ears...This was two weeks of bliss we had in Rolando's family house in Umbria. It was exactly what we had wanted and it didn't fall short on any point: the house was well and tastefully kept, a home from home feel, the kitchen fully stocked, the rooms spacious and comfortable, the terraces well positioned, and enough of them, to give you a shaded quiet spot no matter how many you are, the salt water pool heaven to swim in (why doesn't everywhere do salt water pools?!) and a host who was ready to help at all times. We had a week of families with children (additional children's beds and games available) and an adults only week and both worked perfectly in this house. I recommend a stay here highly. We had a wonderful week at Casals degli Olivi. I couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate my 50th birthday with 10 of our best friends. The Villa is beautiful and well equipped. And the views are stunning. Rolando was an amazing host. He provided lots of great recommendations for towns to visit and restaurants. He also had great lists for Vespa rentals, horse riding, markets & hiking. We highly recommend staying in this beautiful farmhouse villa in Umbria. We look forward to coming back some day!

I recently spent a week with my family at Casale degli Olivi. It is an absolutely beautiful house with the most stunning views and everything you could possibly need is there for you. If there weren’t so many interesting places to visit in the area, we would have been very happy simply staying at the house all the time. The owner Rolando could not have been any more helpful and any request prior to our stay, was handled promptly and with great charm. I would thoroughly recommend it for a holiday in Umbria.

Umbria is known as the green heart of Italy, and nowhere does this feel more true than at Casale deli Olivi. This classic, lovingly renovated Umbrian farmhouse is set into a terraced hillside overlooking a verdant valley. We awoke each morning to watch the sunlight creeping over the distant, tree-covered hills, granite rock-faces, and romantic ruins, as it burned off the mist that collected in the valley. The property is surrounded by olive trees, figs, and lavender, which gives off a ravishing perfume and was alive with the buzzing of the honeybees during the idyllic time we spent there this summer. A weary traveller could sit all day on the terrace by the pool watching the swallows dive down to sip the water, or listen to the bells ringing in the small village of San Giovano del Pantano, at the bottom of the hill. The pleasures of Umbria—and the vast artistic and historical wealth of towns like Orvieto, Perugia, and Assisi—were enough to draw us out of the hammock and away from a novel read under the shady canopy of the wisteria, but only just! The house is well-equipped and beautifully furnished with lots of gorgeous art covering the walls. Rolando was very helpful, arranging a catered dinner for us for one evening. Julia (the lady who came to cater) cooked some of the best food we ate during our trip, and was an absolute joy. Rolando was an engaged and helpful host. We are especially grateful to him for deferring our booking throughout the covid-19 pandemic, and we are so glad that after the long wait we were finally able to experience this very special place. We hope one day to return.

A super experience! The house, location and Rolando's hosting skills were all fabulous! We were a family of 11 and everyone enjoyed their stay. Thoroughly recommend!

Very nice country house in a fantastic location in the hills of Umbria. Fantastic views and very quiet location. Spacious beautiful rooms. The house is very well equipped. Around the house there are many beautiful places. The pool is also fantastic. Excursion destinations such as Assisi, Lago Trasimeno, Perugia can be reached in 30-45 minutes. We can highly recommend this house.

The house is located on a hill overlooking the beautiful landscape. It perfectly accommodates 3 families with children and has ample space to relax inside or outside. We had a lovely stay and would definitely recommend to other people.

Location meravigliosa, il casale è molto grande e le camere sono spaziose. Eravamo quattro famiglie con bambini e abbiamo potuto apprezzare gli spazi all’aperto e la piscina d’acqua salata. La casa è abbastanza fresca e le camere sono tutte dotate di ventilatori.
Cucina attrezzata e già fornita di attrezzature e ingredienti di base per poter cucinare, con BBQ e due grandi frigoriferi.
Rolando e Janis sono sempre pronti a rispondere a qualsiasi richiesta.
Consiglio di fare un salto all’atelier di Janis, proprio di fronte alla porta d’ingresso, che produce saponi biologici ottimo.
Un’esperienza rilassante nel cuore della bellissima Umbria, a breve distanza in auto da tante attrazioni, città e borghi.

Nádherná vila v úžasném místě s nekonečnými výhledy do okolí. Velmi příjemné prostředí pro několik rodin, každý si najde své soukromí a pohodlí. Dům je perfektně vybaven. S majiteli i jejich rodinou a přáteli, kteří jsou vám v případě potřeby okamžitě k dispozici, je výborná domluva. Každý den můžete vyrazit poznávat místa spojená s dávnou historií, ochutnávat zde místní speciality. Ráj na zemi!
