Hotel Bel Soggiorno

Very beautiful surroundings. Great services and including staff. Breakfast was fantastic. Wonderful gardens in which you can walk around to see variety flowers.

Fantastic stay at this hotel. Definitely top 5 hotels I have ever stayed in and would love to come back to. The building is decorated in Sicilian style, has sea view rooms and is within walking distance to the center of Taormina. The room we stayed in was larger than average and had a shared terrace on top floor. Service at reception and breakfast was great. Good selection of breakfast. Could not ask for anything more. Staying at Bel Soggiorno was definitely the highlight of our trip in Sicily.

We loved the Hotel Bel Soggiorno! It's a beautiful and very comfortable hotel. The breakfast was truly fantastic with excellent food and coffee, and terraces with completely stunning views. We think this hotel deserves an extra star! Perfect location for exploring both the town and the beaches by foot. Magnificent!

Hotel is built into the cliffside. Room was lovely, very large with storage(wardrobe and chest of drawers).
Bathroom was great and shower pressure was really good, nice n powerful
Breakfast was fine, aleays some version of eggs, bruschette, cold meats, veggie pastry, loads of cakes and pies and canoli, fruit n yoghurts. Cant fault the breakfast or the staff.
Only downside was no pool and on the really hot days when we just sunbathed a dip would have been nice
Also some nights you can hear the music from a party venue down below as the sound drifts upwards. It can go on till the early hours

One of the most scenic views you can find in Taormina! Always a great pleasure to be back and enjoy the view while eating your delicious and varied breakfast at the lovely terrace (with perfect tiramisu) before you leave for another adventurous day in Taormina.
The hotel itself might use a bit of a refurbishment, looks a bit used and outdated in some places (bathrooms for example), but then again it could also lose a bit of its original charm and atmosphere, so maybe just enjoy it as it is and don’t complain 😊
The standard rooms are not very big, but are comfortable enough even for longer stays. The suite with the terrace is simply amazing!
And last, but not least, the staff is always so helpful and friendly that you will always want to come back for more.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The property is located within 10 minute walking distance to the main village. The rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable. The gardens and the terrace were beautiful, and the views were amazing. The breakfast buffet was great with a good variety of freshly prepared meals and desserts. The staff were helpful and nice, specially Sebastiano who was very pleasant and friendly. We had a great experience and would definitely want to return here and have a much longer stay.

Really stunning hotel that has everything you could ask for. Amazing views of the ocean, incredible breakfast, good rooms, clean, beautiful lobby, etc. Only downside is that it's about a 20-minute walk from the beach and the parking is a little tight so just be careful if you have a larger car (and probably best to ask the concierge to park it for you).

Nice, romantic hotel, the rooms are a bit small but they are clean and have excellent views. Also the rooms have a high ceiling which balances the small size. Breakfast was super, the best that I ever had at a hotel, better then breakfast at 5 stars hotels.

Beautiful views (sunrise and sunset) and for Taormina close to everything but be prepared for steps 😉. Great views, friendly staff and decent rooms.

Our entire stay at this place was amazing. We had lovely room with tarrace and stunning view both for sea and Etna. Common place for guests where they also serve breakfast (delicious Italian breakfast with lot of local sweets!) was romantic and gorgeous. Highly recommended.

Lovely hotel in walk to everything location in Taormina, one of the most gorgeous towns in Sicily. Everyone at the hotel was very pleasant and helpful. Room with sea view was spacious with a large bathroom, never any issues with hot water. Wooden shutters kept the sun out in the early morning. Breakfast was wonderful with big selection in gorgeous setting overlooking water. The walk to town only took a few minutes. I had read that there were stairs to walk to town, but they didn't seem like a big deal. Mt Etna, with erupting lava, could be viewed from the hotel and from our room. We would definitely recommend this hotel if visiting Taormina and look forward to one day returning.

Fantastic stay! Absolutely gorgeous hotel and grounds. The views were incredible. I would come back for the views, the friendly and attentive service, convenient location, and delicious free breakfast! The rooms were simple, but comfortable and clean. We will be back!

It is a classic old world hotel with all the modern conveniences. The only thing better than the views from the veranda where the breakfast buffet is served is the buffet itself. The selection of items runs the gamut from sweet to savory. The pastries are bakery fresh and the savory items are freshly prepared. Coffee is served to order and the Cappuccino is perfecto. There is a path that that makes it easy to walk to Taormina Centro.

We chose this hotel non our trip to sicily as we moved around the island. Although the drive from Catania was relatively straight forward the drive from the motorway was pretty challenging. The first impressions are a super friendly welcome and a great hillside position with stunning views .

Wow!!! We were so impressed by the beautiful view of Taormina and Mt. Etna from the hotel!!! The staff who met us as we arrived late at night were exceptionally kind and welcoming! The breakfast was the best we had at a hotel in Italy - it was an elegant spread overlooking a beautiful view of the sea. The moccasin was also convenient to the sites of Taormina.

Great location with parking possibility which is very important if you are traveling by car. Excellent quality/service/price.
If you don’t need a swimming pool you do not need to pay more! This is the place, best for families. The family room has a huge terrace and is spacious enough for more than four. We were 5 and spent three wonderful days enjoying the views and hospitality of this beautiful place. It happened that one daughter joined us last minute and they had no problem accommodating her in our family room, - other hotels wanted us to pay for an extra room although room was big enough. They even didn’t even charge us extra for the breakfast. These means a lot and proves the quality of people taking care of your stay. They will do all possible to satisfy the guests.
The owner is an amazing piano player and we were lucky to enjoy a concert one evening.
We will definitely come back and recommend Bel Soggiorno to everyone going to Taormina. Thanks for everything and being so nice to us.

A lovely hotel situated around 10 minutes walk from the town centre. It’s an older hotel but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is on the terrace with gorgeous views and plenty delicious food. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. There is free parking albeit a bit of a squeeze. We very much enjoyed our stay at the Bel Soggiorno.
