Bar Sandwich Herculaneum Cafè

Stopped in after Herculaneum to grab a sandwich to go on our way back to the train station. The staff were friendly, the service was quick, and the food was great too! We had the panini (1 x salami, 1 x ham & cheese) and they were great!

We found this place near Herculaneum, what a gem! We came with a school group, no prior booking and they quickly accommodated all 19 of us. The lady was so friendly and the food was great!

Authentic Italian deli sandwiches that are tasty and just outside the Herculaneum excavation site. You can dine or get it to take away. Good prices and great service as well.

If your into your coffee, check this place out! My Fiancee and I wandered in looking for a traditional Caffe Espresso and got so much more, Alex I assume the owner was a friendly and very down to earth Italian man, his English was very limited and so was our Italian, but we managed to communicate quite well from discussing the hand press coffee machine to tattoos, what a great guy, we went back twice daily for our stay to get our coffee fix. Directly across the road from the Herculaneum entrance.

Anna & Giovanna were amazing! They went above and beyond. Great food & calm environment right in front of the Herculaneum park. If you ever visit Ercolano definitely stop by and hopefully you get to meet Kiki who loves lemons! 🍋

This is an excellent place right across the street from the archaeological site of Herculaneum. The people are very kind and and the pucce is delicious. I had one with salami, tomato and lettuce with some marinated peppers. Yum! Good espresso. Classy touch to also bring a glass of mineral water. Very sweet young lady took care of us. I saw her delivering food at Herculaneum and she asked me how the sandwich was. I told here "molto delizioso!".

Mena and the team looked after us so well! It was the best food and company we've had since arriving in Italy! Would heartily recommend ❤

Yummy sfogliatella, good place to have a cappucino and wait for the archeological park to open or for the rain to end.

Mena was an excellent waitress and easily managed our group of 25 people.
The panini were great and we enjoyed the cool breeze as we ate!

Herculaneum Snack Bar and Lounge is just fabulous! Located right across from the ruins, this delightful eatery not only boasts incredible paninis (among other hot foods) made from fresh mozzarella with basil and tomatoes (I could smell the fresh basil from the counter as it was made.), but also wonderful mixed drinks, both made by Allesandro. I came each day I was in Ercolano and was waited on by a lovely waitstaff (thank you, Miriam!) who were both helpful and courteous.

Superhelpful staff. You can pay by card which was a miracle after Naples where is was close to impossible. We got our drinks with smile and served in no time...

Pleasantly surprised as it's right outside the entrance to Herculaneum. Had fab caprese salad served by Mena who was very polite and helpful. Also very reasonably priced. Would recommend

Small and quaint coffee shop. Makes you feel warm and cosy inside when having a drink and snacking on something sweet. Great place to park off before or after visiting the ruins.
