Pizzeria Luna Caprese

Best. Pizza. Ever. I’d leave 6 stars if I could. Vincenzo and son? as well as possibly the wives(?) make pizza exactly as it should be done. My wife and other guests agree it’s the best pizza we’ve ever had. The Quattro formaggio was melt in your mouth delicious with a crispy Napoli style crust baked in a real pizza oven. I had seafood spaghetti that was loaded with clams and other tasty seafood. Another person in our part had a pizza with sardines and olives (I didn’t try that one). Great place and entertaining staff.

Great restaurant close to Erculano, we came here with my family after a web suggestion, and we were not let down. Good overall, you can't go wrong with pizza. My only are for improvement would be the inclusion of alternatives doughs. Since I believe it could benefit the restaurant to broaden its options.

Even if the space looks like from the 1980s, the pizza was really excellent ( I had Diavola). Nice lady who took the order and pizza was ready in less than 10-12 minutes. I paid 10e for pizza, water, and espresso, so it's a really good deal.
During my visit, it was cash only, but I would definitely recommend it to stop by after the Ercolano visit.

One of the best meals we’ve had since being in Italy. For the price the quality was excellent. Arancini was amazing and there was lots for a vegetarian to eat. Grazie!

Family run pizzeria, tables around the oven, while sitting you can see the owner and his wife baking all kinds of pizza. Affordable prices, definetly recommend.

Marvelous pizza! Perfect crust in a wood fired oven. I had the Diavola (spicy salame) and it was the best pizza I've ever eaten! So happy we stopped into this unassuming gem!

Good pizza and GREAT prices. The location is good and the waiter was good. Wine was really cheap too which was nice.
I did feel a little sick the next day, though thay may be other things.
I got the Neapolitan pizza, my friend got the buffalo mozzarella. Both were really nice, but I'd say the buffalo one took the icing on the cake.

One of the best experiences I had in a while. The food was excellent and fairly priced. You can even see your pizza in the making, which makes the vibe even better. The the people running the restaurant were really kind and friendly. I recommend stopping here if you are visiting Ercolano.

Fantastico ! The outdoor seating area just by the doors was very good, great atmosphere. Stopped by for lunch after visiting Herculaneum ruins because I saw on their sign on the way down that they had Insalata Caprese; it was delicious, and served with olives which I have never seen before - worked surprisingly well, and I am not usually a fan of olives ! Delizioso !

If you’re nearby you have to come here! This is a really nice family-owned pizzeria, their service were smooth and everything we had was delicious.

I had insalata Caprese and penne arrabbiata. They were so good that I still think of them after leaving Italy. The ingredients of the salad are really fresh and the olives just blew my mind, I have to mention it because I don’t even like olives! Also the penne arrabbiata is by far the most spicy and the tastiest one I had in Italy. Photos don’t do them justice, you have to taste them yourself! This little gem will always have a place in my foodie heart.

Probably the best Margherita pizza you will have in Italy. A gem.

The best choice after visiting the volcano. Very delicious pizza and very good Aperol spritz. You can only pay with cash.

Amazing food and such kind service from a family run restaurant. We were so grateful we stepped in to eat here - the food was fresh and made with kindness. We truly appreciated the owner’s help in getting us back home! Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for great quality food.

The best pizza(plain margarita & quatro formaggio) and lasagna I 've ever had in my entire life. Moreover, the price is for a steal! 5 Euro for margarita, 7 for 4 cheese pizza, 8 for lasgna. All portions are pretty big and large enough.

This place is so amazing. Owners are friendly and helpful, pizzas were ones of the best I ate in Italy. We also ordered salad and gnocci - the last on the list deserves golden medal of Italian cousine! Highly recommend and looking forward to visit this restaurant again.

Had my pizza breakfast, and then pasta diner here on July 14. The place is absolutely fabulous and is run by a family. Not only the positions from menu are extremely cheap, they are also extraordinary delicious. Pizza was really tasty, just as they serve it in the famous Da Michelle. The pasta was delicious, but it looked to me as if they just use pasta bought from the store. But I can be wrong. Anyways, this place is recommended.
