Tenuta La Favola

Simply the best experience during our first ever trip to Sicily! My wife and I were very much looking forward to our visit based on other reviews and we were not disappointed!! We booked the 'Fairytale' experience and for us it was. We were lucky that it was just the two of us, it felt like our own private tour. What made the experience so memorable was Sebastian, who looked after us throughout our visit, a young man who's passion shines through, it is not just about producing the wine but how it is done that is so clearly very important and we loved learning about it.
Each of the wines we tasted were fabulous, paired with a small local dish, all of it was fabulous but the 5th wine pairing was amazing!!! ( I won't say anymore!! 😉)

We had a great time at Tenuta La Favola! Sebastian was our guide, and was happy to take us early to accomodate our schedule. The grounds are beautiful, and he was very knowledgeable about the entire process. We enjoyed three different types of wine with a plate of delicious bread, olives, and sundried tomatoes. Excellent hospitality, great value for the price! This was one of our favorite activities while in Sicily.

We had the opportunity to visit the Tenuta La Favola recently, during our trip across Sicily.
Sebastian was our host and he did an incredible job at giving us a full immersion into the history of the vineyard, as well as the process for making their exceptional wines.
We had felt like we were part of a family history thanks to Sebastian's passion for La Favola and his land, Sicily.
Moreover, his deep knowledge of winemaking and agriculture has been a great added value for this experience.
We strongly recommend this wine tasting experience.

We had a very pleasant time with Noemi. She was warm and took the time to answer our questions. We were also impressed by the organic and ethical values ​​of the estate.
The setting is magnificent and worth the detour!

This 5th generation, family-owned winery epitomizes rustic, Italian beauty and craftsmanship. Our guide, Sebastian, was a delight. He took great care to explain the evolution of wine making and family history at the property. We even got a glimpse of the elusive “doctor,” who is the sole winemaker and great-grandson of the estate’s founder.

What a wonderful winery! 5 generations of know how and Sebastian who shares his passion for the vineyard and the land, what more to ask?! The rose is exceptional. A must if you are near Noto!

The winery at the top of a hill offers unparalleled sweeping views on the area of the Good Wines and down to the sea. The very informative guided tour in Italian and English is a fantastic journey through the vinification family business across generations. The final tasting experience is a wonderful conclusion of the visit with the opportunity to taste great oragnic wines. The staff are all very kind and helpful.

Lovely winery in the Noto wine region. Our host Sébastien was welcoming and passionate about their wine. Make sure you book prior to arriving. The rosè was an excellent surprise and of course the Nero d'avola was fantastic.

This is one of the best wineries in Sicily. It is a small and organic winery with delicious wines and views of Noto. Sebastian was an amazing host and guide. He showed us the vineyard and described the process of how they harvest the grapes, very very insightful! The rose was my wife and I favorite. Beautiful winery with such an amazing family history. A wonderful winery that dates back to the 18th century. The oldest winery in the region. We did 5 wine/food pairings, was delicious! Really worth supporting this family. Thanks for everything

Great experience. Sebastian was a great host. He is knowledgeable and explained their unique take on wine making. It emphasizes the flavor of their terroir compared to other wines which rely on aging the wine on wood barrels. Absolutely go there and you will be treated with attention and care. Wines are good and some of them quite unique.

I have see alot of winery's and this truly was a unique experience! The care and passion is upmost represented and respected! True too their craft and the quality of the wine shows this very well.Our tour guide Sebastian was very helpful ,informative, and passionate about his work.This place deserves the
spotlight. A true Italian experience,and a view into how proper wine is made with century old techniques and care! A must try for people in the Avola area.!!

Sustainable boutique winery with delicious wines and local snacks. We had a great time at our tasting and learned a lot about the history of this location. The view was beautiful and the price was affordable.

Lovely organic winery near Noto. We showed up unannounced and were graciously treated to a tasting of 3 wines (15 Euros).The Nero d’ Avola was particularly good. Highly Recommended
