The reviews speak for themselves. Come with lofty expectations and prepare to have them exceeded. Flawless execution of regional fare in a charming venue. The menu is set - you sit down and it starts coming and it keeps coming. Enter full. Whether lunch or dinner, plan for it to be your only set meal for the day. If you experience only one iteration of classic Piedmontese cuisine, let it be this. It’s a masterclass. Quite possibly the best meal of my life. Elegant and rustic all at once. Service is exceptional.

As good as people say and really worth a visit. Really good food and a sambucca on the roof terrace. Wonderful.

5 years later and we are drinking a 2014 Rocca Giovanni which is the winery we visited before having lunch at Gemma’s. Amazing! It was an other-world experience! I will never forget the aroma of the fresh pasta being made! And the view was heavenly.

First of all there is no choice. If you are lucky enough to get a place, you just sit down an eat what you get.
Contrary to other places, the quality of the food is simply fantastic!
Talking about “choice”: wine is obviously good and there yes, you can select from the card.
Did not reserve a sit? Don’t just drop by. Call and ask. Sometimes they have free tables from people having last minute impediments.

Great food and service and an authentic local experience. You need to book in advance as the evening set menu is really popular with locals. Be prepared to eat a LOT - we did not know what to expect and were surprised when more and more dishes kept coming out. All simple home made food, typical of piedmont. What a great way to spend an evening - we will definitely be back!

I have been very fortunate to try many dozens of restaurants in Italy, most excellent and truly special, but this left them all behind. Sublime.

One of the most famous restaurants in the region where “La Mamma” Gemma prepares delicious local dishes in her kitchen. Very popular and hard to find a table so reservation is necessary/recommended. No menu, you eat what “La Mamma” prepares. Michelin included this place in their restaurant guide. Wines at very reasonable prices.

Best simple Italian food you can have but make sure you don't eat anything for the day. We had 11 course dinner full of surprises but could not eat much toward the end.love Gemma and her family

Great family operated restaurant serving many local specialities. This place is packed with Italians enjoying the amazing food on offer. Our group of seven shared about 8 dishes. The best way to taste Piemonte.

The Restaurant ever! No match for quality value. Fixed menu but amazing food. More than 50 years of experience. Long cues for a table. Call in advance. Super recommmended

The most authentic Piedmontese food you ll ever eat. Quaint, in a small village lost amongst the Barrollo region vineyards. FABULOUS.

Traditional Cucina Piemontese at the right price. Prepare for an abundant meal. Unfortunately quite difficult to find a place.
