La Contrada di Sorano

A micro winery we stumbled upon on our biking trip through Barolo towns. Friendly hosts gave us a lovely tour and offered a solid tasting of all their wines, including barolo.
Fair prices, great wine and lovely atmosphere.
100% worth taking a turn from the main road.
PS. Their hazelnuts with salt and rosemary is GOLD!!! We tried to get them everywhere eversince and we haven't found them anywhere.

Mi riferisco esclusivamente al vino e precisamente al Langhe Favorita, assaggiato in fiera e di conseguenza acquistato.
L'acquisto oltre che al particolare sapore intenso e deciso e nuovo al palato ha richiamato l'interesse di un vitigno autoctono quasi dimenticato e ottimamente ripristinato.
Una realtà vitivinicola incisiva e di qualità che regala sapori e sorprese col piacere di fare il vino.
