A truly lovely experience, despite being in the lowest wineyard season. The stuff, extremely friendly and knowledgeable, shared detailed explanations on the overall wine production process.
We tasted 4 different wines and a board of cold cuts and cheese.
Truly recommended especially in spring time.

Excellent winery. Tania and Giuseppe were fabulous hosts. Delicious wines, we really liked their Chardonnay. The food pairing was also tasteful.

After our Etna volcano tour, we spontaneously decided to explore a winery around the area. A quick Google search led us to this hidden gem. Tania's warm welcome, the informative estate tour, and the exceptional wines made it a truly delightful experience. The tasting provided great value for the money spent. Thank you, Tania!

Recently had the pleasure of visiting this charming winery, and it was nothing short of delightful. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was welcoming and huge thanks to Tania. Highly recommend this winery to both connoisseurs and casual wine lovers alike. An unforgettable experience that combines great wine, beautiful surroundings, and warm hospitality.

We visited the winery as part of our honeymoon and we had such a great time. The host Tania is extremely kind and knowledgable - she taught us a lot about the cultivation of the grapes as we walked around the vineyard. We really enjoyed also seeing the room where the owner’s ancestors would make wine in a more traditional way. Our whole tour and tasting was completely private, which made it more intimate and special. The wines were excellent and reasonably priced and the food they gave us to accompany them was absolutely delicious. Couldn’t recommend this experience enough!

Booked a quick wine tasting last minute and still Giuseppe and Tania gladly made themselves readily available for us.

What an experience! The wine tour was very unic, we were only two people and had the whole attention of the lovely guide Tania. Wines were super tasty, and the olive products superb. I have visited before some big european wineries but this was something so special ❤ thank you again, see you next time!

We are glad we made a visit to Tenuta Papale last minute for our last day in Catania.

The viveyard has a spectacular view to the volcano. You can have also a glance to a seaview.

Tania has extextesive knowledge in wine making. From grape planting to wine pairing, she can provide what you need to know. You can also find the wine that fits with your taste, from fresh and young to blod and complex wine. They only arrange small group for wine tasting in here so you can have in depth conversation in understanding wine and culture in etna area.

Don't forget the olive! They also have olive planting here. It fits with the great wine.

What a great tasting we had! We started at the Etna vineyard where they do all the work by hand. There is still a original winemaker from 1773. Real cool to see.
Tania did the tasting in the showroom (English) and was very kind and personal. The owner also took the time to see and meet us. We tasted four wines with nice bites and they were all very nice with the Symposium as our favorite. We can only reccomend Tenute Papale!

Great experience and very friendly owners/employees! Got there slightly early, took a quick tour of the vineyard then sat down to great food and wine; highly recommend!

Our visit was absolutely lovely. Tanya walked us through the vineyard, educated us on the process. We then went into the tasting room, enjoyed 4 delicious wines along with meats and cheeses. She really encouraged us to take our time... Just what we needed after our Etna outing. Tanya was knowledgeable and very gracious. Just turn in when you find it!! Definitely recommend this winery.

We had a great tasting and tour after visiting mt Etna. The hosts, Tania and Giuseppe shared a tour of the vineyard (just a few weeks before harvest, so the grapes are ripe and sweet). We enjoyed the one white and three red wines that they shared, and bought some of each... so good!

We had a lovely experience at Tenuta Papale. Tania and Giuseppe have been wonderful hosts, sharing their knowledge and expertise. They worked around the weather (we arrived when it started raining, so the visit of the vineyard wasn't possible) to make sure we had the best experience possible. We loved the wine too!

Amazing winery! Very friendly owners who have a passion for wines. Tania welcomed us with open arms even though we were 30 minutes early. She told us everything about the winery and the wines. She even arranged a transfer for us to the airport after the wine tasting. Delicious wines! We had the best time here. I would definitely recommend to go here when in Sicily. Next time we bring stroopwafels from the Netherlands.

Lovely vineyard with great views of Mt Etna. Very easy to make reservations thru whatsapp and easy to find. Our host, Tania, walked us thru the vineyards while explaining the process and the vineyard's history. We followed the tour with a very generous wine tasting - incredible wine!

We went to Giuseppe's Tenuta Papale to try the wines of his family owned vineyard. We were very friendly welcomed. He explained to us the process of wine making and was very generous. The Etna Rosso Symposium 2016 was my favorite red. I can highly recommend visiting his place. Thanks Giuseppe for the extra bottles 😉

Yesterday we were at Tenuta Papale. A wonderful vineyard with welcoming hosts. We would recommend to do the full wine tasting with food: 4 wines and nice snacks like bufala and a variety of meat. The wines started with white, continued with the red wines. They were really tasteful and worth the visit!
