I have visited Sfiziami twice now, both times based on a friend's recommendation, and I must say, it has been an exceptional experience each time. The ambiance is delightful, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere perfect for any occasion.

The menu offers a fantastic variety of dishes, and each one I've tried has been nothing short of delicious. The ingredients are fresh, and the flavors are authentic and well-balanced. I particularly enjoyed the [specific dish], which was a true standout.

The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every visit is pleasant and memorable. Their recommendations were spot on, adding to the overall wonderful dining experience.

It’s hard to believe, because even we almost walked by, but this is one of the best meals I’ve ever had in the world. We had the buffalo mozzarella and prosciutto. The mozzarella was unbelievable. Fresh. perfectly seasoned and delicious. Our pasta was perfect. The first bite made my eyes roll back.

The owners were very sweet, kind, attentive and seemed to love what they did. it was a joy to dine with them.

Give them a chance, you wont be disappointed.

This small restaurant looks very inconspicuous and modest, but it can surprise you with great food and atmosphere. The service is very nice and the whole atmosphere is very homely. The food was really incredibly delicious. I give it five stars for everything and I highly recommend it.

We have eaten here twice and the food has been very tasty, service, excellent & the price was just right. They do stay open late but the wait can be over 10 mins if you come at it’s busiest times. Well worth it though, the proportions are generous. We will come back again & again 😊😊😊

Had risotto and fettucine here and the food was absolutely amazing, the portions were generous and very reasonably priced. The service was also excellent and when the members of staff offered plates to us in case we wanted to share it. Highly recommended for a nice restaurant near the Vatican.

Absolutely wonderful experience we started with the focaccia and a meat and buffalo mozzarella plate (simple yet insanely delicious!) I had a passion fruit spritz (this in the summer time would be 🔥) it was light refreshing and was just lovely! Dinner consisted of carbonara for me and a meat sauce topped with cheese for my husband (I did not get the name of that dish) the staff, ambiance and food were all absolutely delicious and very authentic. I would recommend making a reservation. We were very lucky to get a table we ended up eating around 7 pm local time here which is early but right after we sat down it picked up! Stop in you will not regret it!

Delicious authentic Italian pasta, sandwiches, and drinks! One my best meals in Rome, and not pricey. Off the beaten path, this is the perfect place for lunch or dinner after a walk through the Vatican. Very intimate setting, and the staff is buonisimo <3

This restaurant is located in a small alley near Vatican city and it is not as touristic as other restaurants. You can enjoy a quiet moment here after a whole day sightseeing. There are indoor and outdoor seats.
The food is good enough and portion is not so small.
The service is super as they will always check upon you if you are okay and the food is okay.

The food was really good that I went twice with my family, especially the lasagna and the pasta with seafood. The waiters were very kind and patient with the orders (for non Italian or English speakers) and were always checking on us to be sure everything was good. Definitely a place to go if you are in Vatican City and want to eat something nice and affordable. 100 % recommended.

It was amazing time spent in this small but really good place. To say it was felicitous - is to say nothing! I was impressed by this place and we visited it for 3 times during our trip. There was a couple who came for a dinner for the 4th time! Nice location and great prices. Really lovely place with the best service and food! Not miss your chance to taste the most delicious pasta in Rome!

Very good food! We went twice and everything was delicious. We met the chef and he is very passionate about his work and it shows in the food he creates.

It was really a nice place. Seafood pasta was delicious. Staff were really friendly they even offered me a shot while leaving!

Went there in search for pasta and was super happy: very nice staff and their pasta delicious. We had seafood and carbonara and will come back. So if ure looking for great pasta, that is the place for you. I just had to deduct one star for atmosphere as I was looking at the toilet all the time but that is really a minor point.

With my family, we ate at 5 different restaurants in Rome. This one was by far the best pasta I've had. I especially recommend the carbonara. The service was also perfect. When we came back, we even received complementary desserts/drinks. I recommend this restaurant to whoever is looking for great Italian dishes

Happen to come by this restaurant today and it has been a wonderful treat. The staff were really attentive especially Rifat and Imam who came over to check if everything was well with the food. Speaking about that, the risotto and pasta carbonara was really good with generous amounts of cheese. The taste of the guanciale was the highlight of the dish.

The price is really reasonable with standard plate of pasta being around 9-10 euros for a reasonable serving. Happy to have lunch here compared to the other more busier restaurants around.

The limoncello was also great as well. Will happily come back when I am in Rome. 5 stars!

After having eight meals of pasta, including four carbonaras, during my 4-night stay in Rome, I conclude that Kamrul at Sfiziami serves the best carbonara, pesto and gnocchi in Rome.

The carbonara, pesto and gnocchi are the best I have ever had in my life, and have thus collectively earned, in my books, the venerable title of “The Holy Pasta”.

The explosive guanciale in his carbonara and his fresh pesto will redefine your understanding of “flavour” while his nuanced mastery of “heartiness” and “fluffiness” that is meticulously kneaded into each and every one of his gnocchi is guaranteed to etch an indelible mark on your mind, leaving you forever longing for that impossible mouthfeel and texture.

While I have attached a few photos of The Holy Pasta to this review with the appreciation that a picture speaks a thousand words, they are nevertheless insufficient to convey the full gamut of my experience. You must try it.

But beware as tasting The Holy Pasta will leave you questioning all the pastas you have enjoyed in your life, and will enjoy in the future, as a higher plane of culinary existence unveils itself before your consciousness. Pasta will never be the same again, for you have ascended another step on the Experience Ladder. But that’s why we’re all here, to climb that ladder, so go forth and ascend.

Was an amazing place for a quick lunch! Place is small so be mindful if you are bringing a large group. 2-3 pax is perfect. Food and staff are amazing! 10/10 will return again ❤

Top top food with cosy atmosphere. Their seafood pasta is a must try and i had 2 plates of it. After that some serious tiramisu and a few good banters with the staff members.Top class food and service! 5/5 recommended👍🔥

Everything is amazing: food, service, prices and atmosphere. The staff is super friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and the prices are algo great. Really recommend. They also gave us limonchello as a gift!
