Temple of Heracles

At this time of the year not many tourists are present.

A must stop if you are traveling through Sicily.

Although not the best preserved in the valley it has a very nice surrounding that is worth the visit

a majestic temple once. It is have a cordon around the perimeter, so you can't go deeper. This is one of the bright and worthy points of the valley of the temples in Agrigento.

Less preserved than others, but has really cool sunset views

My advice - visit this place in the evening. Not so hot and very unusual because of the lighting! Another tip for lazy people and travellers with kids - leave your car in the down parking, go up the mountain with a special taxi and go down the valley of the temples with pleasure.

The oldest temple in the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento. 9 Archaic Doric-style columns you can see nowadays standing where reconstructed and re-erected in the 20th century, after the intervention of the restorers who has been able to reconstruct nine of the columns on the southeastern side.

Cultural Heritage of the highest level

It was amazing to experience the greek temples! The area where they're located is also very nice. There is a cafe within the premices with good food and a terrace.

Totally amazing Place. Best type of this ruin in the world.we visited afternoon and evening which gave us two different views very different. you have to pay twice so if you only go once then go just in the evening but don't get lost there like we did

This is one of those places that are very well preserved. I would recommend allowing enough time to walk around those ancient miracles. However, make sure you do your research before or book a tour guide cause then you will just be looking at stones piled on top of each other.

The place is located in a perfect position to reach all the tourist destinations. Bar, restaurants, supermarket and the beaches are at 1 km away. Raccomend.
