Terminal Interbus Taormina

2€ for single ride, takes about 15 mins. Travelled in Feb 2024 and the bus was not too full, I reckon it's busier in the summer. Timetable on website was correct.

Excellent service. We bought weekly tickets (€34 each Sept 22) which covered a variety of destinations and other bus providers were available to use via the same ticket. The drivers are highly competent and do a fantastic job considering the small roads and other road users. On the Red Tourist bus there are free, new earplugs for the onboard guide which add valuable depth and insight. Such buses visit places of interest such as Castlemola, Isola Bela, we got as far as Savoca. To say these guys go out of their way to make your trip enjoyable is an underestimation. Very reasonable price and easy to use. We booked our tickets online, there are also option to buy at the stop or directly with the driver. Our driver was awesome and made the ride smooth.

Don't expect it to be a tourist landmark. It's a bus station. Asked which bus went to the place we wanted to go, the guy answered and sold us a ticket. Then we waited for the said bus and went in.
People, it's a bus station, people sell bus tickets, don't expect anything else, I'm sure where you're from it's the same experience.

The terminal Bus is few minutes away from the city center. Very good.

What could you say about a bus terminal. It's a place where all the buses which are heading towards Taormina center stop. It is a very small terminal and there is space enough for some buses. However, it is a kind of free parking space where buses stop and depart from where they find space. There is no clear indication where a bus drives and stops. Therefore the bus drivers as well as the ticket selling officers are so patient, helpful, friendly and nice that you will find the right bus without a single problem.
You have to foresee a 300m walk from the bus terminal until you will reach the centre.
Conclusion : if you have the possibility of taking a bus to go to Taormina center, just do it. Cheaper than taxi but almost as effective.

Brilliant place for views and a roman amphitheatre. Plenty of good shops and eating places. Gets very busy.

Seats for waiting and a lady in a booth to buy tickets from and ask questions. Met a nice couple from Germany. English is spoken.

This is the place where you can book tickets for most of the attractions around Taormina, Etna, Castel Mola and other points of interest. Cross the road from cable car ( funicullar) station in Taormina

Beautiful view and scenic drives... The bus service was bit slow , may be it's winter time...

Hub for excursions and tranfers for economic prices. To Catania Airport 6.50€ in 1.5 hour via Giardini Naxos and Catania Central.
