Pizzeria Gelateria Bar "da Walter"

Amazing pizzas, specially the Tropea onion one, that was the same - or better - than the one I ate in Tropea itself, in Calabria. Well done! Very family atmosphere, all good!

We had great pizza cooked in a wood burning oven with many choices of toppings. The tagliere (board) of appetizers has lots of local meats and cheeses. Make sure you leave room for dessert. You may want them all. Also we enjoyed the handcrafted spirits of Gonella Spirits made with family recipes and locally foraged herbs.

Restaurant ‘Da Walter’ is a friendly family run pizzeria that also offers many delicious dishes typical of the region. A great selection of homemade desserts that are of superior quality. Also available on the premises are the hand crafted spirits that are made by a member of the Gonella family. "Gonella Spirits" Spirits that are crafted from local herbs sourced from that region. Recipes that were passed down from generations. They are awesome!
Many wine selections of that region. The service was personable and attentive.
You may want to make reservations because they do get busy.

Super super super super super........

Consiglio al 100%. Ho mangiato davvero bene. Antipasti, polenta e i sughi che accompagnavano la polenta erano squisiti. Ragù di salsiccia, sugo ai funghi, formaggio fuso, formaggio con porri e per ultimo bocconcini di cinghiale cucinato ad opera d'arte. I tris di dolci sono stati buonissimi. Tutte le portate presentate come se avessimo mangiato in un ristorante di alto livello. Vinello della casa buono. Personale veloce e attento. Ci ritornerò volentieri. Vedere il signor Walter girare la polenta nel pentolone è stato simpatico.
Una sola pecca... il bere pagarlo a parte non è stata brillante come idea.

Pizza buonissima e gigante da non stare nel piatto. Ben cotta, sottile ma morbida, impasto realizzato ad arte e condimenti di qualità. Ho preso una pizza con ingredienti del territorio: prosciutto cotto e tomino della zona... Spettacolare ❤
E in abbinamento vasta scelta di birre artigianali

Posto carino eravamo in 20 siamo stai benissimo mangiato polenta in tutti i modi i dolci poi sono stra buoni consiglio di andare ne vale la pena sia per le bellissime montagne e se volete posto ideale per raccogliere castagne .. gita da fare

Per essere una pizzeria offre dei primi con pasta fatta da loro veramente squisita. Anche i dolci sono di grande qualità. Il servizio è stato eccellente
