Agriturismo La Ca' Solare

We had an absolute wonderful time at la ca solare! We were 6 adults and two small children who all stayed in the extended fragola apartment. The location is wonderful and provide the perfect combination of rural and comfortable. Henrik and Silvia (as well as their children) were very helpful and great hosts. Henrik prepared an amazing Italian meal for us two of the nights we were there. The food was mainly made from products from their own farm. A bonus was also getting to know and converse with other guests! This is of course optional depending on how extroverted you are, so don’t worry if you rather want to eat alone. The kids absolutely adored the animals (bunnies, kittens, a dog and a donkey, sheep, chickens, turtles…the list goes on). The also had a trampoline for the kids. We had our private outside table and we prepared our own meals many of the nights. Being at the farm felt very relaxing and like staying at a friend’s house. The pool area is beautiful. It’s close to Pisa, San Gimignano, Volterra and Firenze. Recommend this place to anyone seeking a cozy and genuine taste of Tuscan life! Only negative I can come up
with was the lack of AC in our apartment, but it was an old stone house built to resist heat so it wasn’t a big problem. In September when we visited we had 30 degrees Celsius every day and it was always cooler and nice inside.

My stay at La Ca' Solare was absolutely stunning! The hosts - Silvia and Henrik - made it a very nice experience: They are super friendly and helpful and cooked very nice traditional dinners (I loved the home-made ravioli above all). The farm is like I imagined a Tuscan farm to be like: The view is incredibly beautiful, they have some animals (chickens, rabbits, sheep, a lovely donkey and ducks) and they grow a lot of their food in their vegetable garden. There are some pretty villages around Montefoscoli (which you have to visit by car) and also the bigger cities Volterra and Pisa are not too far away by car. I'm sure I'll come back someday! Thanks for a lovely stay at your fattoria!

We rented a room with a kitchen for 3 nights. The space was large and the rustic kitchen was well equipped. The hosts were extremely helpful in providing tourist itineraries and making dinner reservations for us. We treated ourselves to breakfast and it was definitely a treat, tasty and plentiful. Highly enjoyable stay in a very central location to surrounding Tuscany sights. My highest rating!!

We rented all the apartments at La Ca’ Solare for mine and my wife’s joint 50th birthday celebration. Our friends that flew in to join us had the best time!

The owners were very helpful and friendly and helped us book wine tastings, dinners and they also cooked wonderful dinners for us in the large pizza oven.

We will come back!

Me and my two children had the loveliest stay imaginable at Agriturismo Ca'solare. We spent many hours by the pool,  which was big and clean. The olive trees surrounding the pool give a nice "Italian" atmosphere adding to the already fantastic view over the Tuscan landscapes. We felt so welcome and the hosts invited the children taking part in their daily work, like picking cherries and feeding the hen or the rabbits. What I enjoyed the most (next to the pool :) ) was the garden. We picked flowers to keep in our apartment and in the evenings we could taste delicious Italian dishes prepared with their homegrown veggies. The apartment was neat and clean. See you again next year!

Beautiful location, great pool, wonderful family running this place and they can cook you the most amazing food. They will help you in any way they can to make your stay the best you can have. Apartments are well, and modernly equipped for your convenience.

The Ca' Solare agriturismo is a fantastic farm on sunny hills there we enjoyed a beautiful truly toscany view and food. Mostely of the food biologically produced there, in a rustic athmosphere, where Silvia and Henrik that owns the place, made us feel as part of their family. The rooms carring a story in all details are very well organized and confortable . We could easely visit Pisa, Firenze and many other nice historical places. We really advice to stay there.

La Ca' Solare is the perfect place to relax in the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Also the hospitality and good food made it an unforgettable holiday.
Not forget to mention the very good location between Pisa, Florence and Siena. Thanks a lot!

Very peaceful location. Situated in the middle of tuscany countryside.
The area is surrounded by lots of olive trees and the sound of silence was the soundtrack of our holiday
The pool is a 10/10 spot: you can take a bath or relax enjoying the view of tuscany, that's priceless
The food is very good and some products are km0 and the accomodations were in pure italian style
Last but not least the owners are very nice and open

Our stay at agriturismo La Ca'Solare couldn't have been more perfect. The accomodation is beautiful and authentic. The owners are very friendly and I honestly had the best pasta I've ever had so far.

The location with its view is amazing and you will get a warm welcome from the owners. We were well taken care of during our stay. It really felt like we were invited into someone’s home, while you still had personal space,

Very nice location with a beautiful view, functional and clean apartments well suitable for families. Owners very service minded and friendly and provided many ideas for day trips. We can really recommend the place!

You feel better than at home!

Wunderbares Agriturismo in der Toskana. Wer entspannen, am Pool baden oder Tiere (Hund, Katzen, Hühner, Schafe, Esel, Hühner, Hasen) schauen will ist hier genau richtig. Die Betreiber sind sehr zuvorkommend und gastfreundlich und bekochen einen an ausgewählten Abenden sehr gut. Wir waren mit den Kindern eine Woche hier und hatten eine wirklich sehr gute Zeit. Zum Meer braucht man ca. 50 Minuten und der Ort ist als Ausgangspunkt um die Toskana zu erkunden ideal gelegen. Klare Empfehlung!

Io e la mia ragazza siamo stati ospitati per una sola notte, con estrema disponibilità e gentilezza di Silvia e Henrik. Posto molto bello,visuale incredibile sulle colline intorno a Peccioli. Famiglia molto carina, bambini simpatici e tutti i bellissimi animali sono una degna cornice al luogo. Appartamento rustico, ben fornito e pulito!

Silvia, Henrik e i loro tre bambini sono ospitalissimi. Il posto è così come ti immagini un casolare in Toscana. Il panorama è splendido e diverso da ogni punto della casa: colline coltivate, altri poderi, Peccioli, Volterra si possono ammirare. Il nostro appartamento (Girasole) era spazioso, pulito, rustico, con camere ampie e siamo stati molto comodi in sei.

Luogo incantevole immerso nel verde si gode una gran pace ....i proprietari persone gentili e disponibili piscina con vista degli ulivi ...nelle vicinanze non perdere Ghizzano paesino dei colori

La Ca' Solare è un posto fantastico. Silvia Enrik e i loro splendidi bambini sono super ospitali. L'azienda agricola è biologica e abbiamo gustato tutti i loro prodotti: asparagi selvatici, patè di carciofi (slurp!!), frittelle di salvia, fragole dolcissime e ciliegie colte dall'albero.
Abbiamo trascorso un fine settimana bellissimo senza farci mancare il bagno in piscina e super partite di bigliardino... pure gli ospiti erano simpatici. Che cosa si poter volere di più???
Ci torneremo al più presto.

La Ca' Solare ha cambiato gestione da marzo 2018. È un posto fantastico, la vista è impareggiabile e la famiglia ospitante è una forza della natura. Silvia (italiana) e Herik (svedese) e i tre fantastici figli sono molto ospitali. Abbiamo trascorso un fine settimana bellissimo. Ci torneremo al più presto.

Ci siamo ritornati un mese durante il lockdown. Abbiamo trascorso delle giornate meravigliose e felici insieme a Silvia, Herik, Aurora, Elias, Akessio e a tutti i loro animali 😻
