All the food here is home made and local coming from the owner's farm. One of the best meals you can have in the Roman area. The staff was very pleasant and hospitable. Portions are very generous and it was a wonderful experience.

Out of all the restaurants I've ever eaten in, this has to be the best one. Everything was perfect.

The waiter felt like family and made sure wee felt welcome and always provided more care than we ever expected. We didn't speak a bit of Italian but he was very kind with everything. From offering free drinks and food and offering us extra gold water to have on the road. He was a gentleman.

The food itself was plenty and filled our bellies to the brim. It was fresh, delicious, cheap and very tasty. We had a meat platter as a starter , a boar meat ragu and plenty of house wine. It was so good we finished everything even when we felt too full.

The friendly atmosphere with the amazing food is not something we ever expected from this restaurant in a small village near the Marmore falls but it turned out to be one of the best restaurant experiences of our lives.

Authentic Italian cuisine with local top products from their own farm and friends. Look beyond the facade and get surprised by this place. Great service, try the antipasti and enjoy the amaro at the end. Will visit again for sure.

The service was impeccable. During my trip in Italy, it was there that I ate the best pasta. Would certainly recommend for anyone travelling near Terni or Marmore Falls.

Best pasta and entrees we've had in Italy in all our visits there. If this restaurant doesn't have a Michelin star yet, it deserves for sure a place in the guide.

The owners don't speak english that well, but who needs that when you have the most wonderful staff ever, right? They go out and about to make sure you leave their restaurant happy!

Great job to everyone at La Primula!

Going to La Primula is the best decision I have made this year - such a memorable experience! Every single dish we had was incredible and the waiter made us feel so welcome. I already can't wait to return. If you are in the area (or even if you're not) definitely visit this restaurant - you will not regret it!

Super friendly staff, who provided excellent fresh ricotta as we sat down, and we're very helpful and attentive. The food was wholesome and plentiful, and we were given a lovely sambuco to wash it down with. Very reasonably priced. Do visit!

owner of the restaurant is also a waiter and a farmer who produces most of the food that is served. the nicest person who makes you feel like at home - the best service we had in Italy.
local dishes - cheeses and cold cuts produced by the farmer, homemade gnocchi - worth coming to this area just to eat at La Primula. be careful though, portions are big. i'm certain the place has to join the Michelin guide

I would give this 10 stars if I could. An absolute must if you are in the region. Such an authentic experience given to the guests by the owner with an excellent farm (also run by the owner) to table selection with incredible recommendations. My wife is from Italy and we return twice yearly, this is the best restaurant meal we have had in Italy!

Summary:
Cannot recommend this place enough! eating at La Primula is like having a perfect little secret restaurant that you can always surprise other people with. Food quality top notch for a cheap price, personalized and attentive service, cosy laidback atmosphere.

- Price: Price is on the average end, expect to spend between EUR20-EUR25 per person for a pasta dish + antipasti + drinks. However, when you consider the quality of the food the price is actually SO CHEAP.

Food:
1. Menu changes on a weekly basis!
2. Ingredients come from the owner´s own farm guaranteeing the freshest ingredients everyday.
3. Olive oil quality is BEST i have ever tasted and so fragrant (and i´ve tasted a lot of amazing olive oil!)
4. MUST GET tagliere, all the meat are better than anything you can get in Toscana, some pieces were a bit too salty, but everything is so fresh.
5. best primi in the place: Gnocchi with truffles, the other pastas are good as well but the Gnocchi is the star.
6. presentation of the dish is standard, it is not sloppy, however of course it is not gourment. perfect presentation from a moms and pops restaurant.

Atmosphere:
- exterior: could be spruced up a little, too dark hence most people do not know that the place is actually a restaurant, but don´t be fooled by the appearance.

-interior: rustic and has down to earth furniture, super cosy to have a laidback evening with company.

Service:
- the service is what makes this place. Owner is a great character and treats every guests like his own family, he shares his back story (from family to professional) and goes the extra mile to make you feel special. Brought the ladies flowers, compare olive oils, etc.
- only the owner and his wife runs the place so service is a little bit slow, expect 2 hours to finish a standard antipasti + primi and finish your meal. However, we barely noticed the time passing due to the amazing service and gigantic quantity of food. Such a worth it trade off.
- at end of meal you get free digestives!

The place is run by a couple who make everything with ingredients they grow in back
The husband will jump through loops to make you satisfied. Truly amazing experience. Although it's hard to communicate sense he doesn't know English.

Fresh and delicious pasta with friendly service. If you like pillowy gnocchi, cheese, cream and truffles you have arrived in paradise.
Bonus points for an extensive collection of Bob Ross paintings.
