Ristorante Il Caldaro

One of the best restaurants in this whole area. The surroundings are beautiful and the restaurant looks amazing. The creamy egg starter was absolutely outstanding. The filled pasta was okay. Especially delicious was the carbonara - I think one of the best in Italy. The soft cake for dessert was so good too! The included bread is good as well. One thing to improve could be the little slow service but it was not a big deal.

We had the egg appetizer which was delightfully creative and tasty followed by the ravioli (plin pasta) with asparagus which was also very tasty.

Amir was so friendly and even gave us a tour of the kitchen where we met Bernadette as well.

Fantastic rooms here as well as the food. Breakfast was fantastic and the staff provided the best service we have experienced on a holiday!! We were also guests at a wedding reception here which was brilliant. Would definitely stay again.

Top quality. We had one of the best dinners of our whole Umbria trip here. Ingredients and preparation are both top notch. The staff is very friendly and competent. Go ahead and have three courses. It’s worth it - literally, since the prices are surprisingly affordable considering the quality.

This is one of our favourite restaurants as only 5 minutes drive from @casasangabriel and how spoilt we are to have a restaurant of this calibre nearby. Staffed by Maurizio, Anca, Nicoletta and always a pleasure, whatever the time of year. Make this one of your gourmet experiences in Umbria and you won't be disappointed.

We had a beautiful dinner in the restaurants garden. The atmosphere at night is really lovely. Food is at an extraordinary high level, combined with a classy selection of wines. Compared to local other restaurants a bit expensive, but absolutely worth every penny. The service is also very friendly. We definitely recommend spending an evening here.

Accommodated a group of 30 Americans that traveled to Italy for my wedding & despite a bit of a language barrier, the service was exceptional as well as the food. Hands down, THE best carbonara I’ve ever tasted! Tried to get something that compares in perugia and Rome and it didn’t happen. Highly recommend this little Umbrian gem!

Amazing food! One can tell only good quality ingredients are used. Everything is well mastered, cooked perfectly, bravo to the cooks. A lot of items on the menu are original creations, and all the ones we tasted are clear successes. Don't hesitate to try these!

What a beautiful location for a romantic dinner, lunch, you name it! The staff is so talented and the level of service is will be hard to find elsewhere. A all servers address multi lingual so if your Italian is a little rusty don't worry. The food is topped only by the food presentation. Hard to find a place better!
