It was great! I'm so sad we were here on our last day of our trip, because everything was amazing. The location is very nice, cozy and warm. Our waiter was very pleasant and helpful. And the food was... I'm lacking words. Everything feels so high class whilst not beeing pretentious. If we could we'd try the whole menu. The restaurant is a hidden pearl in an already beautiful place.

In one word: WOW! In more words: literally the best meal we've had in Italy so far. The food was amazing, everything was fresh, clean and expertly prepared. The service was more than great. Our waitress made an effort to explain everything in English. The place looks amazing. It's nicely decorated, there was great music and the overall atmosphere was just right. We will for sure be back. This is a true gem and they definitely deserve all the high praises and awards they've won. Even the pricing was reasonable.

Couldn't recommend a more quintessential Italian restaurant to visit! The staff were very friendly and welcoming, we speak little to no Italian and managed to get through a 4 course meal with some amazingly paired wines.

The Vecchia Capronno fulfills the utmost expectation that you would have of a lovely, slight rural, familiary restaurant with a local kitchen and delicious food with local ingredients. The food, wine and not less the service was excellent and I would definately come back here any time.

This was the kind of restaurant I was looking for, during our trip through northern Italy and I was glad I found it!

Deserves 5 Stars. We liked the authentic location very much. The antipasta and pasta was very delicious. Finally the homemade brown cake was top, too. Thanks for the nice evening!
