This place was so stunning it was ethereal. You reach the restaurant through the beautiful gardens of Ravello, which is a lovely walk. We had our meal on the patio, overlooking the mountains and the mist, which was worth the meal alone.
The food is fine dining, well prepared and delicate with creative takes on classic italian dishes and stunning wine. I loved the food, the beautiful views and the really unique location.
If you have the budget and the time, I'd recommend making a visit.

Outstanding food along with an impeccable service. Everything was simply perfect. Exactly as you would aspect from a Michelin star restaurant.

Just worth mentioning that the restaurant is not located on Terrace of infinity which is part of Villa Cimbrone and can only be visited during the day purchasing a dedicated ticket.

The stroll from parking “piazza duomo” to the restaurant could result being more challenging than expected if not wearing comfortable shoes.

A romantic and pampered setting with impeccable service and absolutely delicious food! this was a memorable meal with spectacular views! we sat outside and was one of the highlights of our trip! it is expensive but was an experience we will remember and will come back next trip. It was a show in excellence. Decanting our wine to the presentation of the food! The captain and waitstaff remembered us the next day when we visited the Gardens right outside the restaurant. So nice! Classy and intelligent staff! Bravo

This restaurant is a must do in Ravello! The view and dinner was impeccable. We were treated so kindly and every dish on the menu was a true delicacy. I visited several Michelin star restaurants in Italy and this was by far my favorite!

The setting of this restaurant is really magical- at the top of Ravello, it requires at least a 15 minute walk from the closest parking lot, which is part of the experience as the town itself is gorgeous and the villa that houses the restaurant is outstandingly beautiful. Food was fabulous, service impeccable, and the price was very reasonable. One of the few Amalfi Coast restaurants that I wouldn't hesitate to return to.

Great food at the hotel listed in a small village. 10 min walk from drop off as no cars in town. Extensive wine list. Several tasting options or dine a la carte. Michelin star rated. Loved it. The staff was amazing.

I was there with friends celebrating their recent engagement. The staff seated us at the terrace and it had a spectacular view of the mountains. Service was on point and the food was great and there were various special small treats between each meal. Unfortunately we had to leave dinner sooner than we would like because we had someone schedule to drive us home. But hopefully we will be back soon to enjoy the less rushed dinner experience.

One of the best restaurants I went to in Italy. They accommodated my vegetarian diet and had an amazing tasting menu. The service was exceptional and the sommelier also provided us with an excellent wine pairing.

Absolutely lovely location with a surreal view. Friendly and warm staff. We enjoyed the dinner a tremendous amount - each dish was interesting and included several surprises. My only regret is we had to rush dinner to make our transportation, but the staff were very kind about it. Next time I’ll plan to relax there late in to the night.

Beautiful restaurant with amazing food & an out of this world view. We had a really special evening here. I’m lucky to have been to many very nice restaurants but the setting at Il Flauto adds something very special. Our reservation was early at 7:30pm but was perfect as we could watch the sun set. Staff were very knowledgeable & attentive. Food was very good. Portion sizes are not small imo. Lovely night, thank you.

I've been to a few Michelin star restaurants and this was a very good fine dining restaurant. I would say most of the bad reviews are from people who can't walk up stairs or don't realize it's a fine dining establishment. For those looking for a good fine dining restaurant with a beautiful atmosphere, look no further. The food was fantastic (pastas and entrees were on point) and the home made bread was some of the best bread I've had in Italy. Don't come here expecting large down home cooking platters; this in not that restaurant. I will say getting a cab from this town can be difficult and there is no way for the restaurant (or any restaurant from the town really) to get you one so be prepared.

Francesca on the front desk deserves a medal! I had not researched properly and was thoroughly lost/flustered and telephoned on the verge of tears. She talked me through the whole way to the restaurant and greeted us at the front door. An absolute star with a bright future in hostage negotiations!

The food was amazing, service super attentive with a little whimsy (we were alerted to some fireworks at a festival nearby we could view through the windows - so charming!)

The care and thought that goes into the food preparation is unbelievable. The focus on local ingredients and recipes was hugely appreciated and we went back the next day to see the gardens (also divine).

This place is amazing. Excellent dining experience and breathtaking views over looking the coast, the grounds and gardens. People who didn't research to learn that it's on the top of a mountain and walking was required, shame on them as they missed out on a wonderful dining experience. I'm sorry it's Italy and a lot of walking is required for almost everywhere. I only wish I could come back sooner. I did this walk from my hotel in a torrential downpour but everything made up for that.

In this beautiful place I organised a proposal for my girlfriend. I needed a place with a piano and they had one so after getting in touch with them it looked like everything should be fine. It wasn't fine, it was absolutely great. Everyone there helped me organizing it and the dinner we had afterwards was also very good. Don't have enough words to describe all the details.. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants a perfect experience (either a dinner with friends or a special event). Best food and most professional people.
