Ristorante Gli Ulivi

This was one of the best dinners I had in Italy! The service was thoughtful and attentive. The food was delicious and unforgettable. I will be back! The owner and his wife made our experience so personable and warm. We agreed that I am his daughter; and, I will visit my Italian father again soon!

Incredible experience. The view is incredible. You overlook Ravello and Scalia. The food is special. Attention is paid to every ingredient. The chef puts a local and unique twist on every dish. It is truly a culinary adventure and so so good. The service is attentive and they treat you like family. Absolutely a must. Oh and the wine list is amazing. The picture is a split plate.

This is the fanciest restaurant in Scala, located within the 5-star Palazzo Pascal hotel. The food and service were great. A small selection of well made dishes. Expect the Italian approach to cooking: fresh ingredients with minimal intervention (e.g. the seared tuna was fresh and without a sauce).

This restaurant offers some incredible views and the food is amazing. We truly enjoyed everything about it. The atmosphere was serene and the surroundings created the perfect scene.

Perfect Romantic Dinner

We went to this restaurant following a recommendation and we were not disappointed for any moment. When we got to Gli Ulivi we were absolutely blown away by the neighboring town view. The restaurant is located in a tucked away spot along the Amalfi coast with a stunning view of the sea and neighboring town. Our servers were so helpful and accommodating. They provided an amazing wine suggestion at a price we were comfortable with, accommodated our request for one Mediterranean meal, and brought out complimentary bread and water. It was such a magical night we couldn’t have asked for anything more. The food, the location, and the service was some of the best we have ever experienced. Thank you for the amazing experience!
Also I want to say thank you to Pascal, the owner of the hotel Palazzo Pascal and the restaurant Gli Ulivi, even he didn't know us, helped us to park our car on parking area and came back to pay for our parking, because we didn't have cash coins for the parking cash machine. We were absolutely amazed!

We had dinner here when staying two nights in the hotel. Everything was absolutely delicious! Our only downside was due to the weather they weren't serving outside in their gorgeous patio area!

The setting is stunning - beautiful gardens overlooking the valley between Scala and Ravello. The food was all very good and the service was quite good considering they were obviously short a server or two.

You can't beat the location, the view is amazing. Service is top-notch. The food while tasty, we expected somewhat more, but was a great experience overall so would recommend.

Amazing. So glad we went off the beaten path. Super friendly service, amazing five-star chef cuisine, and amazing hill-top view. Quiet and quaint.

Magical. Tough to reach on your own but taking a taxi is perhaps the easiest way. Stunning location, friendly staff, amazing food and a cute little pool on the terrace garden. We got amazing gluten free and vegetarian fare. I will return soon. This is the stuff dreams are made of!

Went there for dinner. The restaurant must have improved dramatically compared to last year, reading some of the older reviews and looking at the food presentation. When we went for dinner, the food was excellently presented and absolutely delicious. The service was fun and attentive. The views are spectacular.

Mozzarella tomato ravioli - super super good
Chocolate dessert was to die for. It had complexity and all ingredients harmonically fit together. They need to make the dome a bit thinner as it’s too hard to break through otherwise.
Very good wine card (also half bottles) and reasonably priced.
Excellent sea food.

They should really invest in an app to log orders and calculate the bill though. I think it’s done manually currently and must be a tough when busy. It took quite some time for us to pay.

Upon arrival we were greeted with an incredibly warm and happy smile with this level of service continuing throughout the evening, a special thank you to Antonio. The food, local wine and setting was fantastic and we couldn’t recommend dining there for an unforgettable experience on the Amalfi coast.

My friend and I decided to try this restaurant when we were staying in Pontone and wanted something within walking distance. As others have said, the view was beautiful (even at night), and the service was fantastic as was the food! My friend went for the steak and I had paccheri with a seafood ragù and both dishes were cooked to absolute perfection. The overall experience was very nice and relaxing.

Lovely restaurant of the hotel Palazzo Pascal. It has a nice menu to choose from. We had dinner for 2 times and both times delicious. And on top, Guiseppe is amazing! He truly makes a smile on our faces, very lovely man!

Great little restaurant on the fringe of Ravello..Execellent food and service. Peeked into the kitchen to say hello to Chef and the place was immaculate. The views are incredible. Would definitely eat here again.

A hidden jewel, high in the hills overlooking Ravello and the Amalfi coast, the hotel and restaurant are well worth visiting. Every attention to detail, from the charming entry to the expansive gardens to the excellent menu, has been made to create a truly exceptional experience.

Delicious food, great staff, amazing view. The desserts were good enough to make the entire meal.
