Trattoria la Casalinga

Was recommended this trattoria after checking into our B&B. Service was quick and friendly. We enjoyed all of our food at very reasonable prices. We had a variety of dishes and enjoyed them all. The pasta, meat, and seafood were all cooked well. We tried almost all of their dessert and enjoyed them all- cheesecake, tiramisu, and cannoli.

Great food especially the grilled seafood selection. The cold meats platter as a starter is generous and to be shared. The spaghetti marinara was good but not as good as the grilled seafood dish…was expecting more of a tomato based sauce.
The atmosphere is great seems to be full of locals and great location 👏👏

A restaurant in a tiny road near the Lungomare in Milazzo. We have been sitting in the little garden behind the restaurant, but it is possible to sit inside or on the little road which is closed to cars.We liked the garden wich is very colorful. In fact also the dishes and the tables are colourful in the little garden. The food was very good especially fish . I had the mixed fried fish which was exceptionally good and a big enough portion. Prices are slightly above sicilian average but fully justified for quality and nice area. Personnel is kind but a bit stressed, they really have a lot to do.

Would definitely recommend. The appetizers were good, but the pasta was amazing! The seafood is so fresh and tender and the sauce taste is just perfectly balanced.

It's a fantastic, authentic Italian restaurant, everyone is very friendly and helpful. The kitchen is great. Lots of seafood. Highly recommended!

Food is astonishing. You can't say anything against it. Risotto Marinara is must have!

Great atmosphere eating in a little street of Milazzo. Fish was delicious and the best was the pasta with melanzane uvetta and other 3-4 stuff (unfortunately I don’t remember the name) and It was so yummy! Price was ok for the quality.

Tasty linguine to my great surprise. It’s linguine with shrimp, pesto and roasted nuts. Best dinner during our Sicily trip. Thanks to the recommendation given by our nice host.

Perfect! The specialty of the restaurant is seafood. We shared antipasti di mare, then I had risotto with seafood which was delicious!

We are from an Italian family, best carbonara, spedini (meat rolls), copatanata. We couldn't stop eating! Well done!

Very nice and solid place. The menu is composed of typical Sicilian dishes with a lot of seafood and pasta. The service is very nice and the atmosphere is very welcoming.

Traditional, unfussy but excellent food. Great service. Great value for money. Super friendly staff. Full of locals.... always a sign that a place is worth visiting. Will head straight back there the next time we're in town.

Wonderful, different and fair priced food. Always full - so better book ahead. So many quality sea foods - very good waitress picking up on the small details and wishes of the customers (we even got delicious Tuna tartar, which is not on their regular menu). This was truly one of the best dining experiences ever. We were warmly welcomed by a few people as we made our way to our table. Our waiter, Manny was fantastic. From the starters, to mains, the cocktails, wine and even shooters, were all perfect. I have never met friendlier restaurant staff than those at Casalinga. Everyone should try dining at this gem of a restaurant. We will definitely be having more romantic dinners here. Thank you all at Casalinga, you made date night absolutely marvelous. See you soon.

I'd happily give them 6 stars! Food is excellent and the selection is refined, but the menu is gauged on trattoria prices with generous portions. Quick and personal service and an owner who knows exactly what's going on with each table. Warning: must get there early (8 ish) to guarantee there will be a table available. this place gets full very quickly! Couldn't recommend this little gem higher.

During our two days’ stay in Milazzo, we all had dinner in the restaurant. The atmosphere is cosy. The seafood is really fresh and delicious! The price is very acceptable. If we come back, we would come to this restaurant again!
