Bar Valastro-Damico

Thank you for the best cappuccino I've ever had. Almost a month traveling and no other place could beat it. Happy we went there with Sicily Life tours!

Definitely the best ice cream I had in a really long time (or ever). I had the tastes almond, pistacchio and chocolate. Especially, the almond ice cream was a dream with caramelized whole almonds. I also had a rice volcano there (arancino) and a calzone with ragù. It was still warm and so delicious. Also, it is inexpensive and can fill you up like a normal lunch. The young guys there were so nice and enjoyed telling me the story of the arancino. I'm not going to tell you, I don't want to spoil the story 😀

Chilled atmosphere, ate our fabulous food at the counter while our coffee was made. Everything tasted amazing and the server was very patient while we oggled at all the delicious food on display. Made our trip to Castiglione well worth the drive :D

Real down to earth bar with great arancini and cakes. Not touristy with lots of locals grabbing a beer at lunch.

We went to this bar to have an ice cream and we weren't disappointed. We had the Nocciolata the specialty and pistachio and almond. All three were amazing!! You should go if you're looking for a tasty desert!!

Abbiamo aspettato la fine del nostro viaggio in giro per la Sicilia per poter affermare senza dubbi che in questo bar a Castiglione di Sicilia abbiamo mangiato le migliori:
- granite
- brioche
- cannoli
- arancini
- gelato
In ogni posto in cui siamo andati successivamente il pensiero era sempre lo stesso: "era più buono/a da Valastro".
La prossima volta che torneremo in Sicilia non mancherà una tappa apposita al bar Valastro-Damico.
La cortesia e il sorriso di chi ci lavora da mattina a sera era veramente la ciliegina sulla torta.

Nous avons craqué pour les brioches dont une fourrée avec de la glace et des petits sablés chocolat pistache. Un régal ! Acceuil super avec grand sourire. Une bonne adresse.

Es ist alles sehr lecker. Preise vollkommen ok. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Und man kann das gesamte Dorfleben live erleben 😅

In questo bar è possibile gustare gelati spettacolari ed ottime granite. Il personale è sempre molto gentile, sono presenti dei tavoli all’aperto. Il bar è molto piccolo, ma la qualità c’è tutta. Molto buone anche le torte mousse, presa una con amarena, cioccolato bianco e pistacchio. È stata buonissima, anche se un po’ cara rispetto alla media.
