Very nice visit, and the guide was very nice with good knowledge (think her name was Nicoletta?). Tasting combined with the food at Hostaria di Bacco Furore made it one of our best wine ecperiences ever 👍

Our winery visit and lunch at Hostaria di Bacco restaurant was one of the highlights of our trip to the Amalfi Coast. The winery tour is brief but informative--you get to see where the wine is aged, barreled, and bottled in a cave cellar that was dug by hand into the rock and the vineyards which are terraced and cling to the side of a mountain. They are called heroic wines because of the difficulty of growing and harvesting them in the extreme slope and salinity of the sea breeze. We loved hearing about the harvesting and tender care that is taken of the vines and during the production. The lunch with paired tastings was absolutely divine. We enjoyed the leisurely pace (about 2.5 hours for lunch alone) and the majestic view of the ocean from the quaint and lovely restaurant. A bit of forewarning: the winery and restaurant are a bit difficult to get to. There are buses and ferries, which we planned to take and walk some to get there from Positano. However, we were unable to find a bus and went from Positano to Amalfi by ferry, and had to take a taxi from Amalfi. There were no buses or ferries running after the tasting and tour (at 3:30pm), so the restaurant/hotel arranged a taxi back to Positano. Totally worth it, but I would recommend arranging transportation ahead of time and more thoughtfully than we did!

We had a great experience with the lunch and winery tour. Wines were delicious and tour was interesting and informative. Beware - if you’re taking the bus from near Amalfi ours was full we ended up needing to call a car so I’d suggest taking an earlier bus.

We loved our tour and wine tasting! Rita was such a good tour guide and super friendly. The wine was DELICIOUS! But just so you know it's not so much a tasting as they give you 5 full glasses of wine lol! We were super drunk by the end but hey, what a bang for your buck! Loved it, definitely recommend! And furore is beautiful!

I highly recommend the winery tour and the tasting lunch. The vineyard is terraced and rises right out the ocean. The fermentation room is a super cool cave dug into the mountain under the vineyard. The Fiorduva white wine was our favorite wine from our Italy trip. The winery is a bit hard to get to. We took a ferry from Positano to Amalfi, then a bus ride up the mountain to the winery ( no taxis available).

Excellent experience. Rita was an informative tour guide and gave us some excellent options for the rest of our trip that we followed up on.

The winery is wonderful and the wines are excellent. The responsible for the winery called Bruna is very friendly and very competent. She showed us the winery and explained the production process perfectly.

Marisa Cuomo wines are simply amazing. I had the opportunity to visit the winery and the beauty of the place reflects the “savoir faire” and the quality of their wines. If you go to Amalfi Coast don’t loose the opportunity of visiting the place.

Il destino ci ha portato a prenotare il soggiorno a pochi passi dalla cantina di Marisa Cuomo. È stata una bellissima sorpresa! Abbiamo prenotato la visita guidata alla cantina e la cena con degustazione dei vini. È stata un’esperienza incredibile conoscere la signora Marisa Cuomo vedere con quanto amore e passione produce dei vini estremi di qualità eccellente coadiuvata da collaboratori esperti ed altrettanto appassionati. Abbiamo ammirato le viti centenarie uniche al mondo perché impiantate a parete allevate a pergole sulle terrazze centenarie di Furore. Ovviamente abbiamo portato a casa il Fiorduva e le altre eccellenze della signora Marisa!

Abbiamo fatto una visita guidata della cantina e di parte dei vigneti ed è stata molto piacevole e interessante.
Simpatica e molto preparata la ragazza che ci ha accompagnato.

Cantina storica unica nel suo genere multi premiata situata nel cuore della costiera amalfitana. Che altro aggiungere? Vini di elevatissima qualità, un’attenzione ai dettagli e un approccio produttivo particolare e passionale fatto di esperienza, storia ma anche amore per la propria terra. Fiorduva fiore all’occhiello della cantina.

Buongiorno siamo partiti da Sorrento, dove alloggiamo in vacanza, e con circa 1 ora di macchina di un impegnativo percorso siamo arrivati a FURORE alla cantina di Marisa Cuomo.
Partiamo dalle porte esterne della cantina con successivo accesso all’area di produzione fino ad arrivare nel cuore dell’azienda, ovvero nella suggestiva bottaia scavata a mano e finita negli anni 2000, dove i vini più pregiati restano in affinamento. Le due date 1942 fondazione dell'azienda e 1983 acquisto della famiglia Cuomo ( impresse nei due portoni d'ingresso-uscita).
Il tour guidato si è concluso con la visita a un vigneto adiacente alle cantine, raggiungibile a piedi in meno di 2 minuti, dove abbiamo visto l’unicità del tradizionale sistema di allevamento delle viti ultracentenarie di Furore oltre che godere di un panorama vista mare straordinario.
Abbiamo comprato nello shop le bottiglie di Costa d'Amalfi/Ravello/ Furore e Fiorduva, era un occasione d'oro!

Abbiamo cenato presso il ristorante “Hostaria di Bacco”, locale vista mare, come conclusione della visita con una cena degustazione.

Visita e cena da 10 e lode. Vi consigliamo entrambi e ci torneremo per vedere la nuova cantina ad Agerola pronta (speriamo)nei prossimi anni!
