Great view, amazing food! Friendly staff! Leave space for desserts! May be one of the best places you can pull-over at between Amalfi and Positano! My motorbike hardly did the job up the steep hill after this visit! :)))

Did not stay at the hotel but stopped by for a quick bite at the restaurant but ended up having a meal. Grilled seafood platter tasted great even though there were not a lot of spices most of the flavour was from the fresh fish and grilling technique. Platter has octopus, sword fish, squid, Alichi fish etc. Ravioli was good too. Luigi’s service was excellent. Good views.

We had the most incredible week staying here for our honeymoon. The location may seem slightly out the way, but it's super easy to get into Amalfi or Positano by bus (and not too expensive by taxi) and you are 5 minutes walk from a gorgeous little beach (Fiordo de Furore). Otherwise, you don't really need to leave the hotel, the views are incredible, the restaurant has loads of options and even as a vegetarian I felt content eating there most nights, and the staff are incredibly welcoming, friendly, and go out of their way to help. The hotel itself is laid out down the cliff, so lots of stairs, but it means there are lots of little spaces to relax or sunbathe and you feel like you're in your own little world (even if the hotel is full). There's also stairs right into the sea, which was the most beautiful sea swimming I've ever done! Honestly we can't say enough good things about it, and would have stayed longer if we could!

I stayed at this hotel for 4 days, its between Positano and Amalfi. The bus stop is just a 5-minute walk from the hotel. This hotel have nice views of the sea, pool and sunbathing area. Breakfast was included in our stay, and I really liked it. Really nice atmosphere and service with clean rooms.

Luigi and Luigi are mega friendly and easy going guys. Location on the edge of the cliff is second to none. The swimming off the cliff is an amazing experience 😍 🙌. We stayed for dinner, too lovely home cooked pasta dishes and deserts with an unrivaled view. Other guests super friendly too so overall a lovely experience. Rooms spotless, comfortable and a good leg workout. A really positive unforgettable stay.

Great accommodations, lovely staff, convenient location, nice restaurant and a good value. The hotel staff were some of the nicest people we’ve met on our trip, and they went above and beyond to make our experience great. The rooms are nice and have everything needed, including air conditioning. The restaurant is lovely and reasonably priced, so it is a convenient place to get a late dinner after exploring all day.

Hotel is also conveniently located between the other major
towns in the area. Very pretty views and it is a great place to relax or call “home” when exploring other towns in the area.

The pool is cute and nice to use, but the cliff side lounge areas are really awesome. Breathtaking views throughout.

Oh and I almost forgot the tiramisu was homemade and was some of the best we’ve had!

Amazing place and the food is just delicious! we enjoyed the yummiest catch of the day with fresh pasta and tomato sauce… loved it so much that we’re getting dinner here tonight! The staff is super friendly and you see all the locals eating here… the views are just breathtaking! We’re also staying at the hotel for 2 nights and it’s gorgeous. Makes you travel through time. The hotel is stuck in the rocks and is super charming and clean. The service is more than amazing! Thank you both Luigis for making us feel like at home. I also love that is not in the middle of a town as everything else is super crowded! 5 minutes walk and you can get a lovely beach too. 1000% recommend! Service top, cleanliness top, very charming, good location… just perfect!!!!

We loved this hotel! It was beautiful and a great location away from all the commotion of the Amalfi Coast. They helped us tremendously with figuring out the bus services. The food was excellent! We wished we could have stayed another night. It was such an incredible hotel. Highly recommend it!

I had a lunch with a group of Australian ladies and the full experience has been fantastic. The owner Luigi organized for us a great selection of antipasti and then a tasteful main course with seafood , meat or vegetarian option. This place is a gem on the Amalfi coast.

Amazing!!!

The place looks so much better than the pictures. The whole property really is something special, since it is made into a rock and you get to use their private beach, which is really rare on the Amalfi coast, especially for this price / night. We rented a boat and it picked us up at the hotel which was so nice. Each room has a private (or shared with max 2 rooms) terrace overlooking the sea and cliffs so the scenery is truly breathtaking. Also, the hotel offers free parking!

Then there is the people who make this hotel even more special. The owner Luigi greeted us straight away ad made us feel like home. We spent 4 nights in the hotel and had dinner twice. The dinner was very nice and reasonably priced. Everyone working there helped us a lot and made us feel very comfortable during the whole stay.

La Locanda del Fiordo was really the highlight of our Italian trip!!

We will definitely come back next year.

This is the hotel I stayed during my Amalfi Coast Trip.. The owner and staffs are welcoming. One thing make me feel bad they gave us a wrong order (They added bacon in our pasta which was not mentioned in the menu), even though they changed upon asking but they also charged us..The room have no microwave, no sink. But not to mention the location is super good…You can enjoy a scenic beauty from this place..They have complimentary breakfast.

It was super nice experience! Reasonable price and amazing view. Also, it was located halfway between Positano and Amalfi, so accessibility was good. The breakfast was also very satisfying, and the kindness of the owner made this hotel more memorable. If I visit southern Italy again someday, I will definitely return here! Thank you so much🤗

What an experience with “hotel by the Clift”.
The hospitality is outstanding, I have lots of luggage, the boys were helping with no obligation. They deserve my appreciation and little tips.
The location is great for my dinner reservation at Pirata Restaurant near by.
For photos, this place will give you more options for any type of photos.

Great seafood and pasta, stunning view. Staff were excellent and so friendly. We called in from the beach without a reservation and was not disappointed. Unpretentious food cooked very well. loved it.

We tried the restaurant, amazing view directly on the sea!
The place is close to Amalfi, but far enough to maintain its authenticity.
Food is just what you would like to get: fresh fish and very good limoncello.
Recommended especially for a romantic dinner!

This was a really great place to stay, with easy access to Positano, Capri and Amalfi. The staff were friendly and helpful as could be. The food in the restaurant was great.

Food was delicious and super reasonably priced, had a simple lemon and shrimp risotto after a seafood soup which was amazing. House wine was really good and very well priced. Beautiful views of the sunset and the lights of Praiano and Positano

Luigi and the restaurant staff are very friendly and attentive. We had a beautiful meal and i can firmly say this is the absolute best restaurant we experienced in the region. The gentleman parking the cars was very friendly and an honest smile goes a long way. If i could give 6 stars, i would.

Nice view from terrace. Great choice on menu. I had ravioli with agurola and gamberoni . Nice dish. You can walk down the stairs to lower terraces , surrounded with plants, cacti and trees. Very nice. They also renting rooms in this villa, natural rocks are part of decor inside.
