Farmhouse La Casarossa

This place is a little piece of heaven. The family are delightful and could not be more helpful. My room was large, stylishly decorated, spotlessly clean and the bed big and comfortable. The fantastic breakfast set me up for the day. Well placed for the Piacenza-Genova road which is a beautiful route down the river valley and through the mountains. Lots of eating places in the surrounding area too.

Amazing! We started our honeymoon in this beautiful country side organic farm. Francesco welcomed us and recommended an excellent restaurant and places we must visit. A great breakfast, reasonable prices. We highly recommend!!

La Casa Rossa is a stunningly rustic, authentic agriturismo (farm stay) situated in the picturesque sub-district of Rivergaro. The hosts are fabulous, making you feel welcome and very knowledgeable about the local area.

Piacenza is the closest city to experience urban civilisation, and the city itself demonstrates excellent examples of neo-classical architecture, and is steeped in historic intrigue.

The Provence of piacenza is absolutely stunning. Lots of castles and things to do around the old medieval city center.
Casa Rossa is a lovely place to stay. Very comfortable and amazing staff, Makeing delicious breakfast every day using local piacenza produce. The views from around the farm are also stunning looking towards some mountains and around other farm land. Being just farm land around it is also very peaceful and relaxing.

If you are considering a visit to this part of Italy, don't hesitate to stay at Casarossa! After looking at the photos and reading the reviews for this farm stay online, we were so excited to visit. Our expectations were not only met, they were exceeded. There was beauty and charm in every corner. But the real jewels of the property were the hosts, Francesco and Laura. They were so kind and thoughtful... recommending places to visit and in which restaurants to eat (even helping make the reservations).
The breakfasts were incredible! Laura greeted us with a big smile every morning and made sure we were full enough to skip lunch! Local meats and cheeses, fresh baked pastries and tarts, their own olives and olive oil on bread, and yogurt with the most delicious crumble topping! I liked it so much that Francesco very thoughtfully gave me a jar to take home!
The farm is quiet and lovely, and is the perfect base from which to explore local cities and sites. We also spent a wonderful restful day at the nearby river, swimming and sunning.
All of this beauty and hospitality made for a trip we will never forget... and one we hope to repeat again next year!

Casa Rossa is a lovely place. In a quiet village, surrounded by beautifull places! The rooms are amazing, the breakfast is very good, and the owners are are both very helpfull and kind!

This place is awsome . I wanted an Italian farm stay and I got it here. Francesco is a nice host . I guess is a good way of discovering italy or if you are looking for and alternative tipycal guesthouse

Wonderful magical place - phenomenal attentive service!

Abbiamo trovato per caso questa splendida cascina ed è stata una piacevolissima sopresa. Nella cornice incantevole della campagna piacentina, a due passi dal Trebbia, la Casa Rossa è la classica ciliegina! Tranquillità e silenzio assoluto; Camera molto grande con un arredamento suggestivo; Colazione fantastica tutta preparata in casa con prodotti bio; Laura e Francesco sempre disponibili e attenti. Ottimo !!

Bellissimo b&b immerso nella campagna alle porte di Piacenza.
La struttura è una vecchia fattoria ristrutturata recentemente molto bene con stile retro.

Ci sono stato due notti durante il weekend e ho dormito veramente benissimo, letti comodi e un silenzio che ho sentito da poche altre parti.

Lo staff è molto gentile e fa sempre un extra step per farti stare meglio, chiedete informazioni sui ristoranti e i borghi vicini sanno tutti i trucchetti.

Casarossa est une ferme unique et très particulière.
Le lieu a été conçu selon une éthique précise, qui requiert un travail incessant. En effet ses propriétaires ont tout fait pour qu’elle soit entièrement biologique et écologique. Les différents labels accrochés à l’entrée seront là pour vous le prouver.
Les chambres sont confortables et ont beaucoup de charme.
Le petit-déjeuner est copieux et varié, avec des produits biologiques et fait maison.
Pour le soir, Francesco vous conseillera toujours les meilleurs restaurants du coin et réservera même pour vous. La région est connue pour sa gastronomie (Parme est proche).
Casarossa est donc plus qu’une ferme, c’est avant tout une expérience, un mode de vie.

Wij zijn hier al een aantal keren geweest, en het blijft een heerlijke plek om te zijn. Ruime kamers / appartementen, volledig ingericht, sfeervol, en rustig. De boerderij is sowieso heerlijk rustig gelegen, lijkt wel midden in het golvende landschap. De eigenaren doen er alles aan om je een echte welkome gast te voelen.
Zeer geschikt voor langer verblijf, met diverse steden op rij afstand: natuurlijk piacenza, maar ook genua, parma, salsemaggiore etc. nog dichter bij ligt het mooie kleine stadje rivergaro, met ondermeer een fantastische ijssalon

Struttura bella e molto ben curata in posizione tranquilla ma comodissima per spostarsi. Colazione varia, abbondante, buonissima con prodotti realmente biologici preparati localmente. Proprietari gentilissimi pronti a soddisfare tutte le esigenze degli ospiti

Sitio precioso con mucho trabajo detrás, a las afueras de Piacenza con un ambiente muy tranquilo y típico del campo. Las vistas que hay ya nada más salir de Niviano en dirección Casa Rossa son de lo mejor y más tipico de Italia. Sus dueños (muy majos) hablan francés, italiano, inglés y un poco de español.
