Ca' P'a Casa Privata

Wonderful hotel.I think what stands out the most, other than the location and exceptional design of the entire property, is how they are always available to arrange and rearrange your entire holiday (excursions, taxis, water taxis, boating service, visits, restaurants,…). When you come to the Amalfi Coast you will quickly realize that getting around is quite complicated and can quickly become an adventure in its own right. The reception will take all that aspect away by arranging everything for you at every instant from WhatsApp.
The grounds and views are breathtaking.The roms are clean and so charming. This is so unexpected for Italy where hotels often lack any charm.
We haven’t eaten here (not sure they offer lunch or dinner) but breakfast is pleasant (nothing exceptional).

Would definitely recommend and return.
Not cheap, but nothing is on the Amalfi coast.

What a spot! The staff were incredible for our 4 night stay. Just easy, friendly and helpful. The room was great and comfortable in the heat. The main thing here is that the hotel and bit of coastline feels so quiet and private. Really, really enjoyed it

I am hesitant to leave a review for Casa Privata as it feels like a secret we have stumbled on that we selfishly want to keep for ourselves!! However they deserve every bit of praise we can type into google. If i could give more stars I would. Our room was stunning and the bed made for the best sleep I have ever had in my life. The food was fresh and the menu fantastic. Make sure to ask for some of their home grown figs... the best you'll ever taste. The gardens are stunning, so peaceful and incredibly grounding. Every detail has been considered, both in design and service. The hospitality was personal but private and every member of staff was kind and genuinely wanted to make their guest's stays perfect. The stairs to and from the beach kept us fit :) (important to be comfortable with stairs as there are a lot!). Casa Privata is an incredible homebase for exploring the Amalfi Coast... except it's so good, that you won't want to go out and explore. We will be back over and over and over again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I am spending part of my honeymoon here at Casa Privata, which came recommended by a close friend. My husband and I are a bit high maintenance and had high expectations, and the hotel has exceeded our wishes with flying colors. The staff are so lovely and the food is phenomenal. We couldn’t have hoped for anything more. If you want individualized attention, great food, service, and ocean views, Casa Privata is the place to stay.

I’m still not sure how we got so lucky to find this lovely hidden gem of a hotel. After an early arrival from the states, we were welcomed by the charming porters who met us at the top of the road and helped carry our bags down to the hotel. Mind you the steps aren’t for all, but those making the trip to Ca’Pa are willing to sacrifice a few extra steps for the charming, intimate and ever relaxing stay they will have here. The staff we’re amazing, advising us during our stay, making the long journey down to the most amazing sea side loungers to re-fill our wine glasses and serving the most delicious afternoon snacks. The attention to detail given to each room and the entire property show just how much the owners, care takers and staff care. We were so lucky to spend 4 days here May 2017 and we can’t wait to come back!

A beautiful serene oasis among the pitched groves of lemon trees, this small gem with many private nooks sits atop the ragged edge of Praiano over the sea, with the most hospitable, lovely brogue-clad management and fantastic chef; we felt as if we were the only guests there and had our own private chef and dynamite service. Kid-friendly but also very private feeling with immense rooms of another era. A must-stay!

Absolutely the experience you want on the Amalfi coast. Ca’ p’a is quiet, gorgeous, and wonderfully sneaky. It also has probably the best swimming hole / lay-out area you’ll find on the coast. Could not recommend this place more.

Oh my gosh. I am so happy we found this place!! We wanted to stay in positano but couldn’t find any availability. We are SO glad we stayed here instead! Praiano is stunning and not packed like positano. The views at Casa Privata is insane and you have a private area by the sea on the cliff with access to the water. All the staff is so helpful. Out of all of our requests not a single staff member said “no” once! Everything we asked for, they accommodated! The food was better than any of the restaurants we went to. Coffee and breakfast was amazing. The pool is quaint & clean. The garden is peaceful. Massages in the breeze were so great after a day spent on Capri! We will only being coming here when we visit the amalfi coast! Stunning!!!!!

Best hotel on the Amalfi coast. Views, food, sea access, interior design, and staff were excellent. Entrance is humble.

Wow! Private hotel with 8 rooms right on the Amalfi cliffs. Breathtaking views from the sun chairs in the sea cliffs.

We got married at Ca' P'a in July 2023 and it was a wonderful experience. We could not have asked for a more special few days in Praiano with family and friends. The staff was extremely accommodating, kind, and above all just lovely people to be around.

We worked with Rosa and Giuseppe throughout the planning process - exchanging a lot of emails and connecting on Facetime a few times and everything went extremely smooth for all three of our events (welcome dinner, wedding, and day after pool party). Planning a wedding overseas is a bit overwhelming, but Rosa read every email, remembered every detail, and was extremely patient/helpful when we'd change our minds, etc.

In all honesty, some of the reviews I read worried me at times but I have to say that was absolutely just not my experience with Rosa and the Ca' P'a team - everyone and everything was exceptional. Each event was better than the last and designed so beautifully.

Also, the property is absolutely stunning. The rooms are extremely well kept and the interiors are designed to perfection. Waking up there each day during our stay felt like a dream. Our family and friends really enjoyed the pool and beach access. We spent the majority of the time jumping off the rocks into the sea.

Lastly, the food was delicious - no matter if it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner - you could always count on incredible dishes. Our guests continue to rave about our wedding meal.

Overall, our time at Ca' P'a was truly one in a million, and we will return any chance we get. We could not have picked a better place to get married and would recommend it to anyone considering it.

To Rosa, Giuseppe, and the Ca' P'a team, thank you for giving us the most incredible memory. We have so much love for this special place.
