agriturismo Santa Lina

We stayed at the apartment "La lavanda". It is a 3 bed, 2 bathroom apartment. 1 bathroom is accessible from the hallway, the other from 1 of the bedrooms. The bathroom connected to the bedroom is quite small, but it works. Everything was very clean when we arrived. The host is very nice. We also got fresh eggs, zucchini and apricots from the farm. The house has beautiful views and it's the perfect place to relax. The road to the house is a dirt road which is a little annoying but not the owners fault. Also there is not too much to do close by but also not the owners fault. We ventured out to Cecina, Volterra and Pisa. Pomarance (about 10 minutes away) has a grocery store. The house was fully stocked with linens, towels, pots, pans, silverware, coffee pot, microwave, utensils to cook, etc. We definitely enjoyed our time here at Santa Lina. We would recommend staying here.

Tuto super bene !
We stayed at Santa Lina in August 2013 with two adults and two children (6/8) for a week. I must say, that our vacation there was simply super. We had the bigger appartement over two stories, which is spacious and fully equipped, the kitchen ist completely usable und well stocked. The interior fits perfecty to the beautiful stone house situated on a tuscan hill overseeing the landscape. There are three apartments, all secluded from another with private verandas. Another separate accomodation is in a stone house in the garden. Pomarance is about 4km away and the trip on the gravel road is easy. Pomarance has a very good infrastructre, a mix of a well equipped coop supermercato and the charm of local stores. We had the opportunity of a city festival there, which was great. Siena, Florence, Volterra and Pisa are reachable in short distance (0,5-1,5 hrs). The other occupants there went to the beach almost every day, so even that must be close.
Within a 30min walk down the hill, a clear river is inviting for swimming. The kids loved the expedition.
The house has a pool, which has been cleaned every day to perfection and has very good water without the chemical overdose we experienced elsewhere. Lie in the water and watch the landscape.

The agrotourisme is run by Angelo, Piero and Marcella. They are lovely, very caring people („tuto bene?“), who know the area well and will assist in every way. They are also very discreet, Angelo lives on the premises. Every morning Piero and Marcella brought us fresh bread, italien specialties and other breakfast items.
The place is totally safe, almost no mosquitos during our stay. Basic internet is provided - we had an own umts-surfstick with us, which ran there at HSPDA fullspeed. Overall a great experience and a place to recommend fully.

Ho passato tre bellissimi giorni al Santa Lina. La struttura è perfetta per le famiglie (noi eravamo 6 adulti e 5 bambini) perché gli appartamenti sono grandi e dotati di ogni comfort (cucina attrezzata con frigo, microonde, macchina del caffè, il grande anche lavastoviglie, barbecue esterno (non c'è la Tv, ma per noi non è stato un problema)). Le camere sono enormi e ben arredate, molto pulite. I due appartamenti in cui abbiamo alloggiato noi erano comunicanti e questo ci ha consentito di vivere come un'unica "tribù".
Comoda la posizione: Volterra dista circa 30 min, Larderello ed i suoi soffioni boraciferi sono a circa 10min. Si è immersi nella natura: i grandi hanno apprezzato la quiete ed il panorama, i piccoli gli animali e la libertà di poter correre all'aperto.
Piero, il proprietario, molto gentile e disponibile.

Insomma: un posto che consiglio e dove tornerei volentieri.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren und erholsamen Urlaub bei Piero und seiner Familie. Sehr ruhig gelegen, Terrasse und Pool mit wunderbarem Blick in die toskanische Landschaft. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, mit denen man freundschaftlich verbunden bleibt. Wir würden sehr gerne wiederkommen zu diesem außerordentlichen Ort.

Wspaniałe miejsce do wypoczynku 😍. Piękne widoki, czyste powietrze, przyjacielscy gospodarze. Szczerze polecam 👍

Ottimo luogo per rilassarsi dalla fatica caotica del quotidiano, in specie se di città affollata e concitata, magari con nebbia e smog. Aria tersa con il tipico profumo acre e dolciastro insieme della terra coltivata. Al mattino la rugiada brilla sulle foglie dell'erba come miriadi di stelle. Il silenzio e la quiete fanno da padrone e ci avvolgono in una nuova affascinante sensazione di benessere. Il personale è affabile e cortese, le colazioni preparate, eccezionalmente abbondanti e gustosissime di prodotti di assoluta genuinità. La piscina è confortevole e molto pratica. Per le escursioni: per Volterra 36m' d'auto; Massa M.ma 51' ; Cecina Mare 57' ; Quercianella 1h e 5' ; Follonica 1h e 6' ; Pisa 1h e 19' ; Livorno 1h e 22' ; Firenze 1h e 42' . Buon soggiorno !

Ospiti di amici, ci torniamo sempre volentieri, immerso nelle colline toscane, casolare rustico, dotato di piscina privata, ideale per chi vuole riposarsi a contatto con la natura

Il paradiso in mano a don Abbondio..
La location è favolosa, da 5 stelle, è possibile ammirare le splendide colline toscane dalla piscina ascoltando il silenzio del luogo. Peccato che le punture di insetti (forse acari o pulci dai materassi vecchi), Una wifi pessima.. Un minifrigo semirotto.. Neanche un divano e la assenza di aria condizionata ti fa pensare a cercare altro.... Davvero un peccato.
