Il Patriarca

First time here mainly to relax but also did the cooking course. Very exciting to learn the basics and how to turn those into local, Tuscany treats. The kitchen made them into pieces of art. On our last evening we had the tasting menu, it reflects the skills of the chef, shows local ingredients and topped off with beautiful wine.

My parents, wife, infant son & I stayed at the Il Patriarca for 5-nights in late-April 2024 by booking a Luxury Escapes package. Firstly, the presentation and cleanliness of the hotel is immaculate. They do a very good job of maintaining the building as well as the grounds. Secondly the service and staff were outstanding - nothing was too much to ask. Linda at the front desk was very helpful in resolving some items and providing great recommendations of things to do/see in the area. Vau & Nicole and others at the restaurants looked after us very well every breakfast and dinner and made us (especially our infant son) feel so welcome. Thirdly the rooms are elegant traditional, very clean, great wifi and good TV with some English channels. We were fortunate to get an upgrade to a larger room because of our baby, which we greatly appreciated. Finally, the location is nearby Montepulciano, Pienza, Lago di Chiusi and walking distance to a decent shopping centre with large supermarket and cinema. We loved this hotel and staff and would highly recommend anyone to stay there if visiting Tuscany. All the best!

The location is really good if your plan is to rent a car and explore the surrounding areas of Toscany. It is very near the main motorway (Florence-Rome), which is perfect for going anywhere you like.

My boyfriend and I booked this hotel last minute from Rome, eager to experience the magical history of Tuscany. How lucky were we to experience this truly charming, hospitable place. From stepping in to walking out I give this hotel an over 5 star rating! Jean Luigi gave us the scoop on the must see locations in southern Tuscany (having only 1 night) and my boyfriend and I were absolutely blown away thanks to his great advice. He treated us like family, as well as the rest of the staff. An incredible experience I will remember for the rest of my life! I recommend this Hotel to anyone who goes to the southern region of Tuscany.

This is a beautiful hotel just off the Chuisi exit of the A1. The grounds are very nice and there are 2 restaraunts. We always go to the Trattoria which is more casual and has a grill. In many years amd many visits we have never had a bad meal. Not even a bad item. This is one of our favourite places of all time. It's a little more pricy than other Trattoria but the quality is very high.

This is the second time to stay in this hotel, the equipment is very luxurious

Abbiamo soggiornato un weekend. La stanza era pulitissima, personale molto cortese e disponibile, gli ambienti interni ed esterni molto curati. È presente nel giardino dell'hotel una bella piscina con vista spettacolare sulla campagna. Sono certa ritornerò! Ps: merita visitare il centro storico di Chiusi, un piccolo gioiello!

Ya de por si está en un lugar estratégico para ver toda la toscana, el hotel es maravilloso, buen servicio, buen desayuno y muy amables sobretodo los camareros que son unos fenómenos, el lugar es maravilloso, acogedor, romántico. Merece la pena quedarse unos días. Y encima un buen restaurante al lado del mismo hotel. Y con un gran espacio para aparcar.
