Trattoria La Pinnata (Da Mamma Rina)

Super friendly family restaurant. A few hundred metres from the main square so it wasn't busy...but it should have been. The food was excellent! My pasta alla Mama Rina was terrific as was my wife's grilled octopus. Highly recommended

This restaurant is not to be overlooked. It’s on a quit street and you could easily pass it by. The ambiance is so comfortable and you feel as if you’re in nana’s kitchen. When it come to the food I can’t even describe how good it is. I had pasta with mussels while my husband had a swordfish, prawns rolled into a croquet with eggplant on the outside. We chose grilled veggies to go with our meal. Even though the desserts sounded oh so good we were full and went with a digestive. I had Finochietto for the first time and am now trying to find a place to buy a bottle. Husband went with his favorite- grappa. No matter what dish you choose you will not be disappointed. Wish we were staying longer because we would go back again.

My partner and I dined here twice when we were visiting Favignana Island, we loved it so much. We ordered the entrecôte with mushrooms, grilled vegetables, fries and the Mumma Rina pasta. It was all absolutely delicious and we were thrilled to have the exact same order when we returned for the second time. The service was great and it has a very nice atmosphere! Highly recommend dining here!

Very typical place with a lot of cold cuts and main dishes; the staff is really kind and ready to meet your needs, dishes are abundant and delicious! One of the best places in Favignana!

I ate at Pinnata and in addition to the excellent food the thing that struck me the most was the interior decoratorations that seems to make a return to the Sicily of the past, impossible not to stop and eat. Unique and simple food that form the wonder of the Pinnata

We loved the plate, the place and the people. Waiters struggled to find us a table even if we had no booking. I recommand.

Ho provato questa trattoria che mi è stata consigliata lì in zona e non si sono sbagliati!
Sono anni ormai che con la mia famiglia veniamo alla Pinnata.
Entrare alla Pinnata significa entrare in una dimensione ricca di ricordi della tradizione tipica siciliana, come un piccolo museo dove si può vivere un esperienza culinaria.
Appena arrivati verrete accolti con un piccolo benvenuto dove troverete un mortaio con il condimento per le bruschette. Vi consiglio come antipasti le sarde a beccafico, la zuppa di cozze ma anche l’antipasto della casa. Attenzione a non perdervi almeno un tagliere di salumi e formaggi tipici siciliani!.
Tra i primi noi adoriamo il tipico Cous Cous di pesce, veramente buonissimo.
Gli spaghetti alle vongole veraci e gli spaghettoni al nero di seppia, ricci e cruditè di gambero rosso.
Tra i secondi la tagliata di vitello al tartufo siciliano, la bistecca Tomahawk e le gustosissime tagliate di tonno e tartare di gambero rosso di Mazzara.
Non dimenticatevi il tiramisù soprattutto al croccante di pistacchio e i liquori e vini tipici!
