We stumbled upon this gem during our trip, and it turned out to be one of the best meals we’ve had. The cozy ambiance, tasteful decoration and attentive staff made the dining experience delightful. Outstanding spot for both lunch and dinner! Great service and outstanding food. Had the lemon pistachio spaghetti and the spaghetti and clams —likely the best I’ve ever had. Friendly people and good atmosphere. Off the beaten path.

We came here because the other restaurant we wanted try did not open though it said opened on google. For Easter Monday, this restaurant also opened later than the time listed on Google.

The food was delicious and we especially loved the Shrimp ravioli.

It’s a tightly packed place, but the food was good. I was pleasantly surprised by the verdura veggie bread dish. They asked how much garlic and how much chili we wanted. The cannoli were so good. Our least favorite part were the swordfish rolls. Highly recommend everything else we had. EDIT: I’ve been there three times now. I recommend the Linguine al Limone and definitely try the Filetto Griglia. Wow!

Our best meal so far in Sicily! Everything was delicious, from the antipasti to the dolci! And the service was quick & attentive. Wish we could go back

Sicilian Connolly was unbelievably loved like they should be. Not too sweet or something else just right.

The best dinner in Taormina! We were looking for a place to eat and we came across this little restaurant. We had the spaghetti alla vongole and the linguine frutti di mare together with a tomato salad and as a desert the tiramisu. We highly recommend everything! The food was amazing and the atmosphere very cozy. We sat next to the owner and his mother. We chatted and he treated us to a delicious desert wine. So, if you are looking for a cozy place and not too expensive yet tasty food, go here!

Best meal we have had in our week stay in Sicily so far. We got the linguine al limone and the swordfish rolls and they were both incredible. Will be dreaming about this meal for a while!!

This restaurant, the food, service and staff was the best experience we’ve had in our two week trip around Sicily. The food was delicious and the best we’ve had. The owner was very attentive and kind as was the service. I highly recommend a reservation as it is popular, amongst tourists and locals. Shout out to the owner, Fabrizio and his mama for making this place marvelous.

Try the lemon pasta! But you can’t go wrong with any of the items on the menu. Fantastic food and experience in Taormina and very reasonably priced.

We wanted a place that served good pasta and we accidentally found Malvasia. Oh boy, it was a great accident. The special, Rivoli de Crostacei, was amazing. My wife got the Risotto Al Frutri di Mare and it was perfect. We topped dinner off with a perfectly cooked Cortoletta. The meal came to around 60EUR which we thought was fair given the amount of food we had.

The serving portions are large so you will feel full and happy.

Dining at Malvasia was a highlight that I'll fondly remember. The standout dish for me was the 'frutti de mare' seafood pasta, which was nothing short of delightful. Its creamy texture and rich flavor, achieved without the addition of butter, cream, or cheese, displayed the chef's mastery in balancing healthiness with taste.

Our meal commenced with the traditional bread basket served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Although the bread was a tad dry, this was a minor oversight in an otherwise exemplary dining experience. The staff at Malvasia were outstanding, demonstrating a remarkable level of service-mindedness and helpfulness that added to the enjoyment of our meal.

The pricing was quite reasonable, with the main course priced at EUR 22, a glass of wine for EUR 5, and a refreshing tomato salad for just EUR 4. Malvasia in Taormina is a must-visit for anyone looking for an exceptional culinary experience. The combination of delicious food, attentive service, and great value ensures my return on my next trip to Taormina.

Lovely Sicilian restaurant doing the simple things really, really well. We enjoyed the best pasta of our stay in Taormina, very simple dishes but cooked to perfection, absolutely delicious and at very reasonable prices.

High quality ingredients and good price for Taormina. Service is attentive and friendly. We tried caponata and spaghetti with sea orchins. Recommend!

Booked this for my birthday dinner and had an amazing experience. The staff were really lovely and attentive. The food was super fresh and priced well for the quality. A reservation was definitely a must however, and be prepared to wait even with a reservation for a table!

Every dish we’ve tried had something really special; intriguing special; it’s that taste that makes you crave for more.

The first time we were impressed by the taste of the special dish Ravioli di crostacei con gamberetti e pistacchio and the grilled crumbled langoustine with a pinch of lemon.

The second time that we went here I was absolutely amazed by the special dish LINGUINE AL LIMONE- it went in so much that I couldn't help but ask for a second portion.

We found this place on google and we were so happy that we finally made it; we took cable car from our hotel and it still took 18 minutes by walking to reach here ; owner and staffs here are
very friendly and food is fantastic; we loved this restaurant and enjoyed tonight very much.

High quality food, generous portions and reasonable prices considering the location. Service has been caring and competent.

The owner has a great energy and also the place. We waited outside for half an our i guess, because we didn't had reservation, but it worth it. We could wait 2 hrs, still worth it. Very good food and energy, all the stars in the world for them!

Really lovely meal, the vibes are really nice and the service was excellent. We ordered the shrimp ravioli and the lemon and pistachio linguine and the tiramisu as a dessert. The lemon pasta was really delicious!! The shrimp pasta also but not as nice as the other one. The tiramisu wasn’t the best though.

I highly recommend this restaurant. It was the most pleasant place we visited during our week in Taormina. Everything we ordered was really very tasty, homemade and of high quality. But what impressed me most was the service. Always welcoming, friendly, very attentive attitude and atmosphere. It was nice to feel such an attitude and enjoy the incredible tastes of Sicilian cuisine.
