Hotel Panorama di Sicilia

We are very happy in hotel Panorama. The owner is really friendly and helpful, the views on Etna volcano is breathtaking. The breakfast and coffee is delicious. Rooms are clean. We are having a great time. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing stay with panoramic view without any disturbances as it stands on the edge of Castlemola. It is not super new hotel but you can see people working there take care of it very much so everything has vintage look.
But the bed was a bit hard to sleep for me.

Staff was very friendly and breakfast was simple but enough to experience Italian style one(croissant and cappuccino) with amazing view.

There are quite a few shops and restaurants within short walks. So it was good for us to stay in quiet environments in Castlemola rather than staying in the center of Taormina.

Marcelo and Igor are great hosts! Great value family run hotel with free close by parking. Breakfast is wonderful and the view even better.

Honestly, the view from the hotel is just breathtaking. Room was modest but stylish and very clean, breakfast was good. Hosts were very kind and helpful with everything. I really enjoyed staying there, will be one of the best memories from Siciliy :)

The owners of this hotel have their hearts at the best place: customer orientation and understanding of force majeure situations. Unfortunately, our holiday was ruined due to corona. But because of their leniency, I will definitely visit this friendly, hospitable, sincere and beautiful hotel next time. I will certainly miss the view!

Simple hotel with the warmest service from the owner. One of the most beautiful view from the terrace. Even you can have a breakfast watching an eruption of Etna!

Best view ever

Ho soggiornato con un bimbo di quattro anni da sola e mi sono sentita a casa e supportata in ogni cosa. Papà Marcello e suo figlio Igor mi hanno aiutato in tutto.
Colazioni perfette con brioches che farebbero resuscitare chiunque.Vista mozzafiato.Si dorme bene, ampia terrazza panoramica con vista sull' Etna e tutti i golfi del lido. Posteggio sotto l'hotel molto comodo, nei dintroni si trova tutto: farmacia, posta, alimentari (gentilissimi), tabaccchini, bar, ristoranti, gioielli, vestiti, cose per la casa ed un centro storico che ha mantenuto il suo valore nel tempo.
In questo hotel ho comprato il vino alle mandorle dal profumo squisito di Sicilia, ottimo da regalare e da gustare per ricordarsi di questa terra magnifica. Grazie di cuore a tutto il personale ed anche a Marie, Giuseppina ed il gatto Leoncino...insomma..torneremo sicuramente e vi farò pubblicità: più che meritata!!! Un abbraccio da me e dal piccolo Leo

Egy csodás helyen egy egyszerű szobákkal rendelkező, tiszta szálloda. Ár - érték arányban tagadhattalanul kiváló. A panoráma mesés, az Etnára és Taorminára néznek a szobák. A reggeli tipikusan olasz, kávé, egy croissan és narancslé. A tulajdonos nagyon kedves. Castelmola gyönyörű.

Papà Marcello ed il figlio Igor persone stupende. Accoglienza e disponibilità senza prezzo. Se cercate la tranquillità, siete nel posto giusto. Con certezza ritorneremo. Colazione in terrazza con vista stupenda. Castelmola, borgo accogliente, si mangia benissimo e gli abitanti cordiali...si entra subito in confidenza... Consigliatissimo.

Die Gastfreundlichkeit war super. Das Hotel einzigartig. Der tolle Blick auf das Meer und den Ätna sowohl vom Zimmer als auch von der Terrasse kann man nicht toppen.
Alles war sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Möbel waren etwas älter, aber hatten auch sizilianischen Flair. Wir lieben das Hotel so wie es ist und wir kommen gern wieder. Übrigens Castelmola, eine Miniatur von Taormina, ist immer eine Reise wert.

L'hotel è situato in posizione strategica,vanta di una vista senza eguali ;
caratteristica e datata struttura incastonata su di una collina a 550mt s.l.m. dove sorge il paesino di Castelmola,appena sopra la più conosciuta città di Taormina.
In hotel l'accoglienza e la gentilezza dei proprietari è la prima cosa che abbiamo notato,appena arrivati ci hanno accolto come se fossimo dei loro amici,conoscenti da una vita.
Le camere sono molto semplici ed il riposo è assicurato dalla calma ed il silenzio che si riscontrano come quando si passeggia tra i boschi ,per non parlare al risveglio,della vista di un versante del monte Etna, mozzafiato;
La sala del ristorante è ampia e luminosa,si fa una colazione abbondante inclusa nel prezzo,
Abbiamo mangiato degli ottimi ed enormi cornetti farciti accompagnati da un buon cappuccino e Marcello, il titolare, è sempre pronto a soddisfare i clienti proponedo anche il bis se lo si vuole ma ,vi assicuro, più che una colazione sembra un pranzo.
Per quanto abbiamo fatto sosta per poco tempo,ritengo che questa struttura seppur volesse essere ripresa,classica ristrutturazione, ha dato una buona impressione anche perchè per il prezzo proposto non ci si può chiedere di più, se poi si ha di bisogno della moquette, il cameriere ,la colazione al buffet e la vasca idromassaggio ,con questi prezzi ,non li trovate sicuramente!
Se volete far colazione in camera,potete tranquillamente farla,se desiderate un buon caffè, potete richiederlo senza alcun extra da pagare,
Oltretutto, abbiamo avuto modo di scambiare qualche parola proprio con i signori Marcello e Igor, padre e figlio gestori dell'hotel, persone normali con la voglia di fare sempre meglio come lo era la struttura negli anni passati ante crisi,ante covid.
Hanno citato dei costi da sostenere mensilmente,della gestione,degli aumenti ,cosa che non è avvenuto continuando a tenere le tariffe al di sotto della norma guadagnandoci meno per garantirsi uno stipendio.
Non è da tutti aprirsi così, abbiamo apprezzato la sincerità di esporre quelli che poi sono i problemi di tutti .
In questo frangente di tempo abbiamo sorseggiato del buon vino alle mandorle di loro produzione ed ancora una volta possiamo riconfermare l'ottima ospitalità.
Mi rincresce leggere delle recensioni talvolta atte a screditare un servizio,una struttura per puro divertimento di far sapere le cose negative,ritengo sia giusto, invece, vedere i lati positivi ad esempio un parcheggio a Castelmola è difficile trovarlo se non a pagamento,l'hotel Panorama ne ha uno custodito e coperto compreso nei prezzi,lo avete notato?
Vogliamo che tutto sia secondo le nostre aspettative e troviamo comunque qualcosa che non va!
Siamo nella direzione sbagliata,noi ne prendiamo atto ma ,chi come me non ha pretese si troverà bene ovunque.
Io consiglio l'hotel panorama e più che un gestore ho trovato degli amici,

Un accueil des plus chaleureux. Une vue exceptionnelle sur L'Etna et la baie.
Le village de Castelmola est un bijou.
Un très bon hôtel, un petit-déjeuner très copieux et très bon.
Merci à toute l'équipe pour les 3 jours passés chez vous. On se sent comme à la maison.
