Pasticceria Russo

The sweets are of excellent quality, like homemade, fresh and very tasty. We tried the Canoli, strawberry cake, ice cream (zuppa inglese) and granite (chocolate) with brioche.
It was all delightful! Visit if you have the chance to be passing by, staying around or in Santa Venerina.

While on our way to Etna we stopped here as we werent too hungry for a full meal. Instantly welcomed, chose Lemon granita and Pitaschio from Bronte gelato with brioche which we highly recommend. Authentic Sicilian flavours. Also had the canoli but its gigantic! All in all would visit again

My husband and I stumbled upon this spot looking to get our morning caffeine fix. What we didn’t know was that it would make us rethink how coffee should taste. The espresso was smooth and delicious with a bit of natural sweetness. No lingering aftertaste. The pastries were fresh and delicious. The cappuccino was a delight. We went every morning while we stayed in the area and it was worth it every time. The staff/owners started to recognize us and were friendly despite our poor Italian. They also do some amazing Granites for the hot summer mornings.

Don’t let the exterior fool you. The place is full of charm inside. A great little cafe with fantastic pastries to eat in or take away.

Excellent. We tried the tiramisu and canoli and both were amazing. We tried some of the sculpted and hand-painted fruits - they are beautiful to look at but not to our taste.

Excellent service and they were really helpful to explain all the delicious sweets they had on offer. The selection was vast and each and every one looked scrumptious. I highly recommend a visit while in the area ... The coffee is just as good too!

This is one of those magical places that can make a trip to Italy so rewarding, because even in an otherwise unassuming random village on the slope of the volcano one can find a pearl of a place like this one. It's a pastry shop from another era, where they prepare some local delicacies with craft and love, but then it also has a bar and a gelateria inside, and I definitely recommend you stop and try both their ice cream and most of all their granita: I had a mix of their two different peach granitas, and I was in heaven.

Fabulous find on our return trip from Mt Etna. Best cannoli, fresh and made to order. Outstanding granita, as well as chocolate and honey cornetto. We even bought some to takeaway. An indulgence worth every calorie. Incredibly kind and helpful service.

Buonissimo, my family comes every year. I particularly reccomend the pistachio arancino and the honey croissant!
