We went twice in this great restaurant because the 1st time, we had a tender and wonderful beef filet with savourous grilled vegetables and french fries.

The menu has many local dishes including amazing funghini porcini ie cèpes in french which are beautifully cooked and tasty.

The staff is nice and professional and will manage to communicate even if most of them only speak italian.

The atmosphere and decoration are typical, friendly which makes the whole experience really nice.

I wish I could come back to try the whole menu of this genuine place.

We visited La Bisteccona on our way back from Etna. The trattoria has an amazing atmosphere, and the hosts are very kind and helpful. Since I barely speak Italian, it is usually hard for me to order meals but here we were just sure anything we'd take would be awesome. We were not mistaken. The meal we had was the best one on our trip across Sicily (and we were in good restaurants before). I took a veil steak (I don't remember the Italian name), my wife took another type of meat with grilled vegetables and my two daughters took two kinds of pasta. Everything was just delicious. It was so good that even though we were already full, two of us decided to take desserts (semifreddo) and these were also excellent. It's a pity we are only staying for a short while in this area, it would be an honor to have such a noble restaurant in our vicinity.

We arrived late fir lunch ...around 16.00 after the Etna tour. Food and beer were amazing, pretty quick in coming yo the table and the taste was top. Super nice staff and owner

We were quite early (probably compared to the italian style) and were the only ones. But it didn‘t matter, the ladies were very friendly and nice. We ordered an antipasti plate (we thought it would be more vegetables but besides that it was super nice), the mushroom risotto and the pistacchio raviolis. All in all we were very very happy with the food, it was delicious and very big plates!! Also the white wine was absolute yummy and we would definately go there another day if we had the time.

I really liked this restaurant. We ordered local appetizers for wine, pasta with mushrooms from Mount Etna, gnocchi with gorgonzola, and homemade wine. We had a fantastic time. The road was not very challenging. The prices were reasonable.

Wow what an amazing little restaurant! We decided to stop here at the last minute on our way to Taormina from Syracuse and we are so glad we did! The food was exceptional - fresh, local ingredients cooked to order with exceptional care (we could see into the kitchen and honestly the food was clearly prepared with love) and the service was friendly. Absolutely worth a short detour, this was some of the very best food we’ve had in Sicily! Grazie mille, tutto era buonissimo!

During this first trip to Italy I learned that a lot of the food is too salty for my palate but not here. The grilled vegetables and salad was fresh and delicious. We ordered two steaks - one beef and one horse meat. The horsemeat was absolutely fantastic and better than the beef. To all you westerners who may be squeamish about it, you won't be disappointed! The young beautiful woman serving us was fantastic and the house wine was quite good. A great experience for my last dinner in Sicily!

The macaroni with sausage and mixed vegetables was amazing! Everything we ordered was good but that’s was incredible.

What a hidden gem! Behind the church there's this place that knows how to handle meat on the grill. Take it easy and take a seat.
Not only the meat was perfectly cooked, but also the pasta and the grilled vegetables were delicious.

Amazing restaurant tucked away in a small lost town behind a church. The setting is a beautiful and cozy terrace in a courtyard. Food is unbelievable, with a wide range from pasta to meat. We had the ravioli pistachio and beef with local mushrooms from mt Etna.

The restaurant was open during siesta hours. Unlike other restaurants we visited this one specialises in meat. We ate steak and pasta dishes. All food was outstanding. I particularly recommend the fillet steak „Filetto alla Griglia”, which was one of the best I have had EVER!

The best pasta I have ever tried! The owners of the place are kind and professional. Compared to other restaurants I've been to, the prices are low, while the food and service are relatively better. The interior of the place looks cozy and is pleasant to the eyes.

This was our favorite restaurant on our Sicily trip. We stayed in a resort about 10mins from here and were looking for some local food. We loved it so much that we returned again on the next day. We had four dishes in total: pasta with pistachio, gnocchi with basil pesto, tagliata steak and filet steak with porcini mushroom sauce. While the tagliata was just good, the filet was absolutely incredible and one of the best steaks we ever had. Both pasta dishes were also fantastic. Be aware that not much English is spoken in this restaurant but I think it's not a problem because the hosts are super friendly and will make sure that you'll have a good time!
