The Island of Wonders, Escursioni in Sicilia

We did the 5 hour quad bike tour. We got everything we hoped for. Nice weather, nice scenery, and a bit of exercise working the machinery. The guide was great! He really tried his best explaining everything to us in English, despite his difficulties with the language.
It goes with the review that we are absolute novices when it comes to quadbikes - there are probably better tours for people with more experience. But for us 10/10! (bring sunglasses, long sleeved clothes if it's not in the warmest part of the summer, and maybe something to cover your face)

Highly recommended! My partner and I booked an Etna excursion with them and had a really good experience. Our first booked excursion was unfortunately cancelled due to lack of people, but the team of Island of Wonders was very professional and rapidly arranged another suitable option for us, with a lot of attention. Mauro is fantastic. I actually booked with the wrong date but he still accommodated me at short notice. Thank you so much as this was my mistake but he still came out to complete the tour when I called. The tour itself is fantastic, the best way to see the beautiful countryside - the panoramic views from Castelverde are unbelievable.

My husband and I did the 4 hour Etna quad tour and it was fantastic! Our guide, Luca, was very knowledgeable and we learnt lots about Etna from him. We stopped at many different interesting places with great views but we also had lots of time for driving. We've done lots of quad tours and this one was one of the best terrains, it was a good level of adventure. I'd say most people would be fine with this tour except for nervous first-time quadbikers. Luca was very friendly and made us feel welcome and comfortable. Definitely recommend!

We did a 2 hr quad tour. I think it was Lucca who was our guide (we were the only 2 on the trip) and he was great. They took us off roading a but, through the mountains, through town a bit, saw spectacular views of Etna. I think it was $150 for the 2 quads. Super fun and memorable. Recommended highly.

My boyfriend and I did the 5 hour Grand Tour Quad Bike Adventure from Alcantara up to Etna and we loved every minute of it!! The guide could not speak English very well but he did his very best. The scenery was absolutely amazing and when we got to the highest we could go up Etna, it was literally stunning!! Marco and Salvatore were such great help as they organised for us to be picked up from Taormina and dropped back off again. I highly recommend this trip, definitely a memory and experience we will never forget!!

Thank you for the amazing tour today. Truly- the tour exceeded our expectations and was the absolute highlight of our time in Sicily so far. We learned a lot. Salvo has a gift of explaining things really well and keeping our 5-yr old and 2-yr old happy and excited about the volcano.

We had a fantastic day doing a guided electric mountain bike tour around Mount Etna. Marco is very knowledgeable and a great guide. We would certainly use him again if we come back to Sicily. Karen and Peter

We had a lovely morning trek along with our kids. It was very informative and fun, the scenery was spectacular and Marco an excellent guide. Highly recommend.

Wonderful evening trip with kayaks on the sea. Much better than loud motor boats. Our guide was nice and informative. Great experience for å family with teenagers.

Abbiamo fatto l' escursione sull' Etna per famiglie...risultato sopra ogni aspettativa! E' piaciuta tantissimo a mio figlio di 6 anni (voleva tenere la mano solo a Marco!) e anche noi grandi. Marco è molto professionale e traspare una genuina passione per il suo lavoro. Un'esperienza da non perdere se visitate la Sicilia!

Io e la mia ragazza abbiamo fatto un’escursione in Quad della durata di 2:30h alle gole dell’Alcantara. Esperienza davvero immersiva, la guida ci ha portato in alcuni sentieri immersi nella natura più selvaggia. Abbiamo anche attraversato piccoli ruscelli con il Quad. Sterrato ad alcuni tratti impegnativo ma molto divertente. Infine, i ragazzi sono molto cordiali
