It's a lava tube. How exciting can it get?

One of the only Lava Cave you could actually go in and experience in Mt Etna area. It was left by the former lava tube and has different layers of lava level and shelving within. Very interesting to see how the volcano erupted from underneath. Definitely recommend to visit here with a knowledgeable local guide or tour.

Amazing lava cave. I recommend you to visit it with a guide to get some really interesting in-depth knowledge about it and the surrounding flora!

First time in a lava cave, amazing! We had to wait to enter the cave as the first level (the only one you can enter without equipment) is quite small but unique. There are two more levels, however you need to be an 'expert' in order to explore. Very nice experience.

Interesting if you like Lava tubes, not the biggest I've ever been in by a long shot but worth the 15 minutes it takes for a look around

Interessante Höhle (erkalteter Magmakanal). Man muss zwingend eine Taschenlampe mitnehmen und einen Helm ⛑ tragen. Zugang nur über eine Führung oder auf eigenes Risiko. Der Magmajanal wurde zufällig beim Straßenbau entdeckt. Es hat zwei Höhlenabschnitte. Der Kleine und sichtbare Abschnitt ist oberhalb der Straße. Der eigentliche Höhlenteil startet oberhalb der Straße und führt unter der Straße durch das Magmafeld -1300m lang und 300m Höhenunterschied.

Grotta formatasi per ingrottamento lavico di eruzioni recenti (anno 1800 circa). Il sito è facilissimo da trovare, non comporta difficoltà di osservazione (almeno il primo livello che troverete facilmente a bordo strada). Gli altri livelli sono in posizione più elevata e necessitano una breve ma pesante salita. La struttura ipogea si presenta come un lungo corridoio tipico di queste formazioni vulcaniche. Nei periodi invernali, la neve copre l'ingresso della camera visitabile.

Az út mellett nyíló lávabarlang. Könnyen megközelíthető, csak egy lámpa szükséges. Nincs lezárva, ingyenesen látogatható. Ha a képen látható táblát látod, állj meg, függőleges akna van alatta.

Длинный 7км подземный туннель, образованный спуском лавы с вулкана Этна.
Высота свода колеблется от 2 метров до 1,5 метров. Рекомендовано каска и фонарь .
Мы залезли без оборудования, поэтому дальше не пошли.
Кроме этого, Этна продолжает извергаться , и при очередном землетрясении, может и завалить ...
