Piemonte "da Sciolla" - Ristorante con Locanda

Wonderful place to eat home cooked food. Lovely hospitality offered by daughter-in-law who was helping out. They also offer nice selection of wine . Son and daughter-in-law owns a winery if you wish to go check it out.

A perfect place to stay - just a short walk from the train station, in the historic old town, and surrounded by quaint piazzas and majestic mountains. Piemonte da Sciolla B&B offers very comfortable accommodation, and a delicious breakfast (you won’t need lunch!). Although there are plenty of restaurants nearby, make sure you choose to have dinner at Piemonte da Sciolla - the home cooked food is amazing. It is the place to stay if you’re visiting Domodossala!

Best meal of our stay in Italy, without a doubt. The ragout is exceptional. I can highly recommend this restaurant if you're near Domodossola. Reservation recommended.

I can only recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Domodossola or thinking of visiting the region.
After a week of hiking in Val Grande, we were looking for a place to spend the night and stumbled by chance over this great hotel.
Without previous booking, the room was very affordable. It was basic but very clean and cosy.
After looking for a place to eat, we found out the hotel's restaurant has a five course menue for 25€. An absokute bargain, as it was delicious and was a game based meal. The breakfast was included in the price for the room and was very good as well.
Furthermore the woman working at the desk (we don't know whether she also was the owner) was very friendly and treated us a bit like a true Italian Mama. She was very forthcoming and helpful and even booked us the bus back to the airport.

I can only recommend the place for its great food, great prices and warm and welcoming service! Glad to see that in regions which have not yet fallen into the tourist trap reasonnable prices and friendly service still exist.

It was raining cats and dogs when we arrived in Domodossola (april 2019). We were on a cycling trip, so we were happy to arrive in a warm and dry place. The 'locanda' is a beautiful place, the 'patrone' immediately offered us tea and coffee and made us feel welcome. The room was beautiful, spacious and comfortable. The dinner in the restaurant was the best we had that holiday. We will certainly go back there!

Lovely place with amazing aperitif and antipasti. Generous portion for pasta and secondi. It has a quiet and calm air, great place to take a breather and enjoy lunch.

A beautiful little restaurant with delicious food, and amazing service. They start you off with a glass of free champagne and the bread comes in a woven bag. Absolutely classy.

Excellent Ravioli, carpaccio, burrata, delicious Chocolate cake (Domodossola specialties) and friendly service in the old town 👌 absolutely must visit in Domodossola!

They have several Prix fixe menus for lunch. Other than being an amazing bargain, the cuisine is delicious and quick, and the service is friendly and efficient.

The lovely lady gave us a last minute reservation for New Years and the service was amazing as well as the food!! What a memorable evening!!!😍😍😍😍😍

Ho cenato in questo ristorante la sera prima di partire col trenino verde delle Alpi che parte proprio da Domodossola. C'è la possibilità di due menù fissi di degustazione invitanti ma io ho optato per scegliere alla carta. Mi hanno portato come entree una torta salata agli spinaci buona, per primo ho ordinato i ravioli di brasato alla Piemontese davvero spettacolari e consigliatissimo. Come secondo ho preso una degustazione di formaggi della zona con abbinate marmellata e miele. Qualità delle materie prime eccellente e cameriera molto gentile. Tornerò!

Gentile il personale e buoni i piatti. Consiglio come antipasto il lardo. Primo: ravioli ripieni di ricotta conditi con burro e salvia e tagliatelle con funghi porcini. Come secondo scuisito il coniglio ripieno. È in centro andate e sarete soddisfatti!

Un ottimo ristorante con piatti tradizionali della cucina piemontese. Il servizio é stato rapido e molto gentile, una bella scoperta in una serata di passaggio a Domodossola. Il piatto di formaggi locali é altamente consigliato ;-).

Tutto veramente meraviglioso, posizione, location, ambiente, camere, arredo, pulizia.. cibo (colazione incredibile) e.. la grande gentilezza ed empatia della proprietà e del personale, sempre disponibili per cercare di accontentare e mettere a proprio agio gli ospiti della struttura.
