Excellent restaurant/gourmet shop where to taste local cheese and cold cuts! Unfortunately for me, I was there at 4 p.m. and the kitchen was closed, however I am sure that warm dishes must have been delicious! In spite of the late hour in the afternoon, the chef was able to accommodate a delicious dish of steamed veggies. Pistachio tiramisu amazing

I have returned after 4-months and my 5-star rating remains! This time, it was just my son and I, neither of whom spoke or understood Italian. The service staff was welcoming and spoke no English. They refused to give me a menu (I do know Italian dishes!) as they would recite the day's plate-du-jour and specials (I think they had only 3 or 4 choices that day). After a few minutes, the CHEF came out. She spoke English well but was happier when we conversed in French. True to it's reputation, they served only local produce. That day was mushrooms from the mountains. BTW, only order appetizers if you are a truly HEAVY eater. I had the special and the primo piatto was almost a full meal. The mushrooms with the cheese were almost melting as the aroma and flavor enveloped my mouth. The 2nd course, Beef, was HEAVENLY.
The almost 4-hour train ride and the difficulties (more like fun) of finding non-English speaking service staff were the spices to a wonderful and excellent value-for-money meal. Sadly, we had to catch the train back so, we were not able to enjoy some dessert or to buy some items from their shop.
BTW, request to be seated in the basement. Wonderfully cool, excellent ambiance, way classier than the ground-floor canteen-like setting.
I will be back (again).

Posto eccellente! Cameriere gentilissime, piatti abbondanti e squisiti! Pulizia impeccabile! Prezzi sotto la media! Abbiamo preso antipasto, primo, secondo con contorno e dolce. Un piatto migliore dell'altro. Sicuramente riandremo!

Ottimo indirizzo, la nostra comitiva di 25 persone e stata accolta con gentilezza e ospitalità. Pranzo di qualità, servizio rapido. Il sorriso di Roberta ci ha fatto dimenticare la forte pioggia del mattino.

Bellissima esperienza culinaria in questo ristorante. Servizio eccellente. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo!

Ottimo tagliere di salumi e formaggi, buono il vino della casa e dolci squisiti.

Prima di lasciare Domodossola la mia amica ed io abbiamo deciso di pranzare in questa osteria sperando di trovare qualcosa di tipico e qualitativo, avendo avuto difficoltà a reperirne. Abbiamo scelto pietanze differenti ma in egual modo soddisfacenti ed allietate dal servizio simpatico, efficiente ma mai invadente di Roberta. I dolci? I dolci poi non ne parliamo dovete provarli!

Le menu du jour est à 16 euros + le couvert.
Vin café eau minérale pour un total de 40 euros (deux personnes).
Faites un passage à la boutique qui propose des produits de la région

Personnel feminin très sympa, avenant, service soigné et rapide.

Tutto fresco e cucinato a modo . Ambiente accogliente pulito ci torneremo.

Veramente tutto molto buono!
Prezzi onesti e tanta qualità. Anche l'ambiente familiare è per me molto apprezzato.. Ci hanno trattato molto bene, con un occhio di riguardo per mio figlio di 2 anni.
Le porzioni non erano abbondantissime, ma non sono certo uscito affamato.

Tornerò sicuramente.

Santina, cuoca perfetta! Non c'è una cosa che non sia buona, provare per credere! Affettai salumi nostrano strabuoni.

Piatti tipici della tradizione ossolana. Ottima anche la varietà dei vini.

Im Laden können feine Produkte gekauft werden. Das essen im Restaurat ist sehr gut. Auch der Service sehr freundlich. Ich komme gerne wieder einmal.

Ottimo il menù a prezzo fisso. Prezzo leggermente sopra la media ma ne vale la pena.
