Ristorante a Tivoli, Avec55

This is a small restaurant which focuses on fresh, quality food prepared and presented beautifully. We had a delicious dinner complemented by a great selection of wine.
The chef went out of his way to accommodate my gluten allergy, even making fresh gluten free bread for me.
If you are staying in Tivoli, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

My fiance found this place after a bit of research and it has definitely been one of the best, if not the best, dining experience we’ve ever had! We got lucky since we were only one of two couples dining the entire time (not sure how that happened). Chef Raoul was able to create divine dishes for my love who is vegan and allergic to dairy, gluten, corn, and soy! If you want to feel special and eat well then you at least have to try this place out.

We had an outstanding experience at Avec55! As someone who does not consume some of the major allergens, it can be very difficult to eat out- especially here in Italy. I stumbled upon Avec55 while searching for restaurants and reached out to Chef Raoul via email to see if he could accommodate my dietary needs. He was very quick to respond and assured me that he could prepare a meal that fit all of the criteria (vegan, gluten free, no soy or corn).

Upon arrival, we were seated right away and were the only couple in the restaurant for the first hour or two. This made the experience that much more personalized and special. The chef took the time to translate the entire menu in English and provide recommendations- also very appreciated!

We chose the tasting menu and every single dish exceeded expectations. Both the vegan and vegetarian options were phenomenal. The biodynamic wine we had was also a huge hit. And one of my favorite, unexpected delights were the digestives after our meal. The homemade limoncello was so good we bought some to take home.

I can’t recommend Avec55 and Chef Raoul enough. We ended up dining here two nights in a row and are sad to be leaving Tivoli and this restaurant behind. Do yourself a favor and give this a try!

By far the best dinner experience we’ve ever had. The service was exceptional, so helpful, kind and professional. They provided excellent wine recommendations and even translated the menu for us. The chef managed to create wonderful creations which tasted unlike anything we’ve ever had before. The prices are very reasonable as well. We will absolutely recommend!

This restaurant was amazing in the modern and unique approach it took to Italian cuisine. The welcomed up with an amazing basil brûlée, the freshness of the basil with the caramelised sugar just danced on the tongue, the beef was a little sinewy for my taste and a little undercooked, but the melanzane my had was out of this world. The win was delicious and the Nona that served us was informative, welcoming and just a delight. I could not recommend this enough

€70 for four glasses of wine, sparkling water and 3 primo piato which were of a high quality. Tasty dishes, beautifully presented and service that was friendly and attentive. The small family operation was able to cope with a coeliac and adjust dishes to gluten free with no issues. They are located in a quieter part of Tivoli but close to the center.

We had a wonderful evening at Avec55. The food was creative and delicious. Full of new flavors, with an excellent balance between strong and delicate. Service was wonderful, and don’t miss the licorice liqueur to finish!

Once in a lifetime experience. Extremely fascinating and intriguing flavours combination! We loved every bite of our fantastic dinner: congratulations to the chef and the staff.

What chef Raul does is magic! Awesome combinations, great products and condiments...it's obvious that he gives all that he can and more to bring the best experience for the guests. His mother's so kind and makes the place familiar and cozy

You can expect to spend a bit more here, but it worth the great experience by far
Best restaurant in Italy until now in a week for me

One of the better meals I've had in Italy. Very talented chef who uses exciting combinations of quality ingredients to make delicious compositions – all beautifully presented. The value for money is very good, also for wine and drinks. Friendly and welcoming service. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to try great Italian food with creative twists.

I reserved this small intimate restaurant for my wife's special birthday. Chef Raoul was very helpful and when we arrived he made us feel very welcome. We decided to let Chef Raoul create the menu for us and we were not disappointed. Each course was a fabulous tasting experience. The price for this standard of cooking is excellent and I would recommend anyone visiting Tivoli to go and let Chef Raoul cook for you!

I tried Open Ravioli with beef, it was fantastic! I loved how everything was presented beautifully with great service and remarkably high quality food.

Cozy place and friendly stuff. Very good chef, knows English. A food is tasty and they bring a chefs complement.

This place totally deserves its rating.
Atmosphere is intimate, food is succulent (the sous-vide pork was incredible) and innovative (mango chutney creme brulee as a starter <3 )
On top of traditional meat/fish menus, It also features both vegetarian and vegan menus to be inclusive, which is nice :)

Lovely “Area Creativa” menu, at an extremely reasonable price, and great to meet and speak with the chef, who also helped pair drinks – closing with a really good herb-smoked Amarone. I’d highly recommend this place. As a solo diner, I was made to feel welcome, which hasn’t been the case in other restaurants nearby!

Fantastic little restaurant. We were recommended the place by our hotel, and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We had one of the chef's set menu options. Very reasonably priced considering the quality of the food. Top marks for a top place. Very welcoming family run business.

Wonderful dining experience, would absolutely recommend! Apparently we were the only 2 people on this october evening who wanted a culinary night, the owner did not doubt a second to open his restaurant and cook for us! The menu @35 euro is incredible and the wines both by the bottle and glass are splendid. You can feel the passion in everything that's going on here. Big thumbs up also for the mamma and pappa (?) helping to run this place! If you love good, surprising and well presented dishes, book your table right away and enjoy a magical night out!!

Not very easy to find, since there are no tables outside or a sign but once we were there we were positively surprised: very friendly family serving delicious dishes. Highly recommended if you're looking for a fine dining restaurant for a fair price.
