What a Wonderful place!!! Tasty ! Beautiful portions! Nice people! Feels like home here. And what a bread! And I loved their lemon tart, not too much sugar, soooo delicious !!!

Don't let the name fool you into thinking this is a touristic joint. It's more of an eclectic local place whose owners seem to have spent some considerable time in NY.

Thoroughly enjoyed various dishes here, as well as some good local wines. Accommodating staff created a very good gluten-free pasta dish for one of our party who has Celiac. Interior rooms are well-light and decorated in a casual 20th-century boho studio style. Outdoor garden tables accommodate larger groups... and actually reminded me of various East Village haunts.

As in most places in this cultural corner of Europe, reserving a table here, even a few hours in advance, goes a long way toward creating a pleasant experience... for both diners and restaurateurs.
