The Gammon Pub, Pizza & Grill

The food here was incredible. We loved everything we ate. We are early eaters so were excited to find a place that was open at 6. They did tell us they would need that table by 8. If you are a late eater you'll need a reservation! The Apollo sandwich was very tasty. The kids loved their meals. The blueberry preserves that came with my husband's chicken was so fabulous I most definitely stole it for my sandwich. I was nervous if my kids would be reluctant to eat the fries, but they all loved them. They did warn us a sound check was going on before they sat us. I thought it would be fine and was grateful they were willing to serve us, but it was too loud for our kiddos unfortunately. They told us they never want to go back because it was too loud (Mom fail). If you like very LOUD live music (at least to my old lady self) they apparently have that sometimes. The bathrooms really need some updating.We learned tonight the take away was equally fabulous (we ordered again tonight as a to-go order) so while we may never get our kids to willingly walk through the front door again they will happily devour the food once home! The staff was very helpful and worked with our very limited Italian and multiple people speak English fluently there. A GREAT option close to Aviano Air Base.

The Gammon is a nice pub that has great food and a variety of beers on tap. The menu contains typical bar for, such as burgers, sandwiches, pizza, etc. The staff is friendly, but sometimes overwhelmed with all of the customers. Give them a smile and they'll smile back at you! There is often live music on Thursdays, so make sure you reserve a table.

The food was great, the host was so polite and helpful and the place was just beautiful! We highly recommend. My family of 7 came here for a late dinner (well for us anyway) and we couldn't have been more pleased that we did.

Very cool German-American fusion pub right outside Aviano AB. Staff is friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Food is prepared perfectly and beer is cold. Trivia on Wednesday nights but it’s only in Italian… still fun to watch!

I really enjoyed this restaurant. It is very large, but seats you in a way that makes it feel intimate. Lots of great food. Not Italian, not British, and not quite American, but really good. Great service, with a staff that speaks English wonderfully. Worth stopping by for a meal.

They only have a few vegan options, including a sandwich which is quite lovely! I always switch the bread to ciabatta. The place is clean and welcoming and service is always great.

This place has an wonderful ambiance, unfortunately could not dine in due to COVID. However, the sandwich I had was impeccable. The gentleman who took my order recommended "The Top" and boy oh boy it hit every spot my tummy was yearning for. Sandwich had fresh veggies on it (eggplant & zucchini) bacon, and chicken. It's a must try!

This is my favorite place to eat. I love their club sandwiches the most but they have amazing ribs and appetizers too. The setting is also very nice. The staff is very friendly

Probably the best pub/restaurant you can find in Roveredo, it's quite big and has many dish available, the food is great and the overall environment is pleasing, I highly suggest eating here, the personnel is kind and welcoming, although I recommend to book in advance as it's always full and it's impossible to find a table otherwise

Food is good, attentive staff, family friendly, and reasonable prices.

The Gammon is the closest thing Aviano has to a Chile’s or Applebee’s. Good burgers, poppers, and ribs too. And of course because we are in Italy, you can get a nice pizza as well. If you’re an American and looking for a touch of familiarity in casual dining, The Gammon is the place.

Travelling around in typical military fashion causes skepticism of establishments closest to a military installation’s main gate. Because of this I was at Aviano for several months before my first visit to The Gammon. To my fellow Americans who have not been there, don’t let the location scare you off.

One more thing – they have Guinness on tap and are able to pour a decent pint of it.

This place is so yummy, the food is delicious and staff is knowledgeable and personable. They also have a good selection of alcohol.

Quickly fell in love with this place. It was packed, & we had a large party but our food did not take long at all, & it was tasty.
