Small shop with a big and warm personality and good food. The paninis (I had the Giulietta and my husband the Killer) were both very tasty and well made with mostly local produce. They also have local beers and wines.

We had just made a loop through the town when we started to get thirsty and we found ourselves right in front of In Urbe. We went in just for a cold drink but the big welcoming smile of the gentleman behind the counter drew us in and there we sat for two hours talking to him about living around the world and great food, of which theirs is included. We had the Parmigana panini which was amazing! We take photos of every meal but we ate it before it even occurred to us to take a photo! Every element was amazing. Then the owner walked in and we heard all kinds of great details about the town. Next, two more customers came in and everyone was talking to each other, such a lovely intimate setting. Meeting all these people and having great food is why we travel. I’d give it ten stars if I could!

Cosy and authentic establishment run by extremely friendly owner. For lunch, we ordered two paninis with, among other things, delicious ham. The local wines we ordered were accompanied by useful information about the wine merchant.
You can also order beers from local craft brewers.
If you want something small to eat in Spello, away from the hustle and in a cosy establishment, this is the place to go!

Adorable little sandwich shop outside the hustle and bustle. Just walk a few mins from the main square and you’re there. The sandwiches are absolutely delicious, I had the Lo Zaga and the flavors were incredible. Definitely try this place for lunch if you’re in Spello.

We Australians enjoyed very friendly service and paninis and drinks for lunch. I recommend to anyone visiting Spello to find this cafe and order the tumeric Mediterranean panini (the tastiest and healthiest artisan bread roll I have ever eaten) which was warmed and filled with Italian ham, mozzarella, rocket and home grilled tomatoes. Yum!!!

If you want to support local businesses in Spello, look no further! The restaurant serves delicious food in very reasonable prices! The tagliatelle with cacio a pepe is delicious, so as the bruschetta plate with many various type of toppings and torta with mixed vegetables. What’s more interesting, the drip mat contains a map of Italy with all the vine types around the country, so it is a fun activity to do while waiting for food. The restaurant is a small, but big hearted. Fully recommend!

We wandered off the main road and discovered this sweet panini shop with many vegetarian options. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the food was fresh and delicious and reasonably priced.

Locanda in EUrbe is outside of the center of town on Via Giulia. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. It is very small so please don't expect a big menu. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. Giulio and a lovely young lady took care of us. This place has a big heart!

Tiny little spot in a wall you'd miss it really easily so look hard it's worth it.

Durante una passeggiata nel suggestivo centro storico di Spello, abbiamo scoperto il piccolo ma accogliente locale "In Urbe", che consiglio vivamente a chi cerca una pausa gourmet in un ambiente autentico e familiare, con un'attenzione particolare ai prodotti locali e alla qualità del servizio.
L'esperienza, infatti, è stata davvero piacevole sotto ogni aspetto.

Il locale, pur essendo piccolo, è ben inserito nel centro di Spello, con delle sedute esterne accoglienti e ben organizzate in un pittoresco vicolo adiacente. Un’atmosfera intima e rilassante, perfetta per godersi un buon pasto o un aperitivo.

Abbiamo ordinato un Tagliere GranTour, che si è rivelato un'ottima scelta. La selezione di salumi, formaggi e verdure (ho adorato i pomodorini confit!) è stata abbondante e perfetta per due persone, con prodotti di qualità eccellente. Un particolare apprezzamento va alla selezione del formaggio stagionato 48 mesi, un vero plus per gli amanti dei sapori intensi.

Durante la nostra visita, il locale proponeva la "Settimana della Crescia", un’alternativa ai classici panini e un'opportunità unica per assaporarla in una varietà di interpretazioni.

Un altro punto di forza è l'eccellente selezione di vini biologici e biodinamici, provenienti da piccole aziende locali. Un vero tesoro per chi ama scoprire nuovi sapori e sostenere la produzione vinicola del territorio.

Non posso dimenticare di menzionare la cortesia e la simpatia dei proprietari, che si sono dimostrati non solo preparati, ma anche molto disponibili. Soprattutto hanno accolto con calore la mia cagnolona, cosa che ho molto apprezzato.

Posto fantastico dove fermarsi a mangiare e bere a Spello, fuori dalla strada principale, con anche dei tavoli sotto un portico molto carini.
Una proposta più varia e originale del solito, fatta con cura, con scelta attenta di ingredienti locali e di qualità, e si sente. Nota di merito in più a tutta la scelta vegetariana, ricca e varia, non la solita roba mono opzione con due fette di formaggio, del tipo toh arrangiati con questa... La crescia raffy spicy me la sogno di notte, una bomba. E ad accompagnare c'è una gran bella selezione di birre artigianali locali e vini naturali del territorio.
Complimenti ai due ragazzi che gestiscono il locale, gentili e simpatici, questi sono posti che meritano veramente.

Vorrei che questo locale fosse nel mio paese per andarci sempre.
Tagliere di affettati e verdure grigliate. Viene spiegato cosa viene servito. Le verdure sono grigliate e poi ben condite. I migliori taglieri presi nel corso delle vacanze in Umbria e Toscana. 20€ di entrambi i taglieri.

Locale senza troppe pretese, siamo nel centro storico del paese con tavoli molto essenziali ma in linea con l'ambiente circostante.
Il panino che ho ordinato è stato spettacolare. Il gestore ci ha introdotto gli ingredienti a km zero e il risultato è stato assolutamente in linea. I miei amici hanno preso dei taglieri, anch'essi invitanti e molto buoni.
Consigliato specialmente per un pranzo senza rimanere ore a tavola.

L'altro ieri abbiamo pranzato in questo splendido posticino nel centro storico di Spello e siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi dalla gentilezza e cordialità del gestore. I panini sono di una qualità eccellente ed il vino di altrettanta eccellente qualità. Se vi capita di passare per Spello consiglio vivamente questo posto. Davvero di primo livello!!! Reduce da un lungo cammino sotto il sole di luglio qualche giorno fa, appena arrivato a Spello all’ora di pranzo sono imbattuto in questo locale. È stata una piacevole sorpresa: panini di ottima qualità, personale simpaticissimo e disponibile. Consigliatissimo, tornerò con piacere!

Super consigliato! Personale molto gentile, tagliere di formaggi, salumi e verdure fantastico, birra artigianale locale molto buona come anche il vino. Buon rapporto qualità-prezzo.
