My wife and I found this little gem of a shop in the beautiful jewel box town of Spello in Umbria. Marcello was the delightful and very friendly salesperson who attended to us. Although he could not speak English and we could not speak Italian we somehow connected and understood each other! My wife bought an exquisitely designed leather handbag from Desiree Lupi, and I ended up buying a leather satchel for myself. They were not cheap of course, but reflected the high quality of the handmade craftsmanship. Be sure to stop here when you're in Spello and say hi to Marcello!
