Da Giacomo

Managed to get a last minute table and so glad we did.
It's on the pricier side, it ran to about 90euros each for 3 courses, wine and coffee but it was so worth it. The octopus parpadelle was incredible and the service was top notch.
Only downside was being sat next to 2 Americans with no self awareness of their loudness.

Food: Superb! Flavour and texture are just nice. Seafood is fresh, Squid is tender, pastas are al dente.
Service: well trained service staff, fast and knowledgeable to recommend the menu for u.
Atmosphere: neat and bright. A hint of modernism in the traditional Italian style.

Will I come back again? Definitely YES!

This is a great place. The food is DELICIOUS!!! Visiting Milan from NY has been such a great experience, but to end my trip my uber driver recommended me this place, and thank the Lord. We were a group of 4 and order Lobster pasta with linguine, it was a lot of food and it was delicious. Don’t leave Milan without coming here . Thanks for great service

Lovely place to dine. We were 7 people, so had a chance to order several dishes, everyone was super happy with their food. Ive tried risotto, probably the best one ive ever tried (a bit salty for my taste but still). Also gnocchi and spaghetti alla vongole was 10/10. Tiramisu and bomba di giacomo was really tasty. Plus, they have a really wide wine list, we’d love what they’ve recommended. Atmosphere was also really nice, like a tipical old but cool italian place. Staff was nice, besides a waiter who spoke italian on purpose to my friend even though she said that she doesn’t speak (reason for 4/5). But other than this incident, all of the staff was super helpful and nice. Would recommend!

The atmosphere, the service and food are excellent and spaghetti allé vongole are amazing, highly recommend.

Incredible service (we shared many plates and servers split it in advance perfectly). The food (especially the pasta dishes such as the seafood gnochetti) was amazing.

Absolutely nothing to complain about. Attentive service, food cooked to perfection and the atmosphere was cosy and romantic. I had a quite late dinner around 8.30pm and just walked in. Free entree, small pizza slice was given complimentary. I really enjoyed the lobster pasta.

This is an upscale restaurant that is always on top lists for Milan. This is not without reason. The ambience is quite pleasant. The food is great and the service is very kind and professional. Take note that you can only reserve through phone.

This is an establishment when it comes to italian food, one of the oldest restaurants in Milan. Fantastic location with great lively atmosphere, food is delightful, service attentive and risotto to die for.

It's worth a visit.

Ps try their tiramisu. You won't regret it.

Everything was great except the Tagliatelle With Porcini And Langoustines because it was too salty!!

Nice place as environment, food and service without mentioning the wine suggestion.
I highly recommend for a fish dinner with few friends or better a date.

Great restaurant with great food, ambiance and service. Can only say good things about it. It has an allure that fits the city’ elegance. The staff speak English. Offers a variety of fish, all fresh and cooked tastily. Pasta choices are irresistible. The desert cart that arrives at the end of the meal with delicious choices is hard to resist. It is pricey but every penny spent is worthwhile. Ideal place for special occasions or business dinners. The place rocks during the fashion weeks. Impossible to find a table without advance booking. One criticism is that keeping those green water bottles on the tables do not serve the elegance the restaurant pitches for. Please serve water without leaving the bottles on the tables or get a silver pitcher.

Fantastic place. Fresh food, amazingly prepared. Great variety of wines. Dessert trolley absolutely wonderful. Always going back whenever passing through the city: consistency over time is what we like best about Da Giacomo.

I’ve been wanting to go here and it was a 15 minutes walk from my hotel so I thought I’d try it without reservation, and it wasn’t a problem.
The place is not cheap but the food was top notch- I had the red prawn tartare with orange sorbet (amazingly fresh) and the classic lobster linguine. Both were excellent. Service is impeccable and it’s a quiet, classy place.

You have to try tuna tartare, while it's the season. It is something else! Never thought tuna can taste like this.
And guys, the BOMBA dessert!!!! It is indeed a food bomb in a good way :) we ate 2!!! But whatever you take is good anyway. Do highly recommend

We had lunch at the 900 museum.and dinner at Da Giacomo. It was a great place for lunch and dinner. The waiter and sommelier were very helpful. Definitely a must place for lunch or dinner. Reservervations are highly recommended.

Three weeks ago I had lunch at Da Giacomo together with a friend. Even though Da Giacomo is known for its fish dishes, we both didn't choose fish but pasta with truffles as a starter, followed by a filet mignon. The pasta was absolutely delicious and the filet was very good. The service was attentive and very friendly. We chose to drink a glass of red wine not looking at the price list. The waiter could have maybe told us that we selected the most expensive one... approx 18 Euro per glass. The wine was very good, but we were a but surprised by the price when paying the bill. But Da Giacomo is definitely a recommendation and I hope to return soon.

Great place to visit for food lovers. Great Menu, good service. Can get a bit crowded but worthwhile.

I highly recommend Da Giacomo if you can manage to get a table. One of the oldest in the city and one of the best. I suggest the tagliolino pasta with white truffle, it's to die for. Seafood and fish is a must, you'll be happy to have chosen this institution.
