Great place to hang out!
We missed our bus so went for a meal and drinks.
Loved the place. Great service and worth checking it out.

Unique perfect bar in Castelmola with funny theme. You can take a seat on the balcony, inside the bar on the cosy square. Very friendly and kind stuff, taking care of our guests. Delicious peach granita! Highly recommend.

Great place high in Castel Mola. Food was tasty and service helpful. Plenty of space to fit all 8 of us. Great views.

The night I was there were a party. Atmosphere was amazig as well as music. Negroni was perfect. On the terase next to it view was amazig.

Bar Turrisi has a lot of history to it and it is worth the climb to Castelmola (suggest taking a bus or taxi).

The walls, floors, menu, sculptures are plentiful and it's a fun environment in the evening when the bar is packed. We went in winter but the summer time is different.

Suggest getting the almond wine! It is elite

A place with delicious food with a different concept. You should definitely stop by. The view is magnificent.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bar Turrisi which is located in the picturesque village of Castelmola, Sicily. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very nice. They gave me almond wine for free! That was so lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful. The decor and the view from the balcony were amazing, making it a great experience overall. The prices were also very reasonable. I highly recommend this bar for anyone in the area and I look forward to visiting again!

September 2024:
Visited twice in September 2024, and it was just as fantastic both times! We enjoyed delicious pizza, refreshing drinks, a delightful granita, and the most amazing passionfruit gelato. The service was attentive and friendly, even during some challenges on our first visit due to the water shortage in Castelmola. To top it all off, we were treated to complimentary almond wine—such a lovely touch! Highly recommend this spot!

What an interesting place (if you know, you know ;-).
Lovely pizza and the best pistachio arrancino.
Definitely worth a visit.

We were so happy to get a drink there after the climb through the Sentiero dei Saraceni. It was a hot sunny day. We got given free crisps and nuts with our drinks. The view is amazing from the top floor, and the decor is certainly entertaining!! A fun visit.

After the road from Taormina to Castelmola I felt the need to eat something sweet, and when I saw the icecream, I sad this is the sign I need.
Had 3 flavours of icecream for 5€ and receieved a huge, huge cone. It was goog, not the creamiest, but good.
They also have other sweets like canolo.

Great everything: food, service with smiles, atmosphere (phalic) and views from the balcony. Try one of the aranchini. We’re here during off season.

It was fun! The restaurant spreads over multiple levels. All the rooms are decorated in an entertain way and have a great view on the church and/or mount Etna. The food and service were good.

When we visited Castelmole our tour guide invited to visit this unique bar. Very surprising and unusual with lots of quarks and historic story behind it.

Stopped by this gem on our way through Castelmola! Such a lovely and cool spot. We had a beer and a glass of delicious almond Sicily wine. The staff were so friendly and had some laughs with us!

This bar is great. It's such a good find. We went for a hike from Taormina to Castelmola (took around 1.5 hours) and we popped into Bar Turrisi to have a well deserved cold one. The bar its self is just crazy. Everywhere you look there is just artistic painting of penises and when you realize at the start that everything you look at is a penis you get a shock as you don't expect it. After you adventure up to the second, third and fourth floor you soon realize that it isn't just penises placed in random spots, but a work of art. The penises are placed in every right spot. Making this whole bar a work of art. If you can get a seat at the top floor I would recommend it. The view and the peace is worth every step you 'hike' up. It is a great find and I would come back here for a few hours if I had the chance. Take in Mt. Etna and enjoy the sea.
