Hotel villino gallodoro

The hotel is 3 minutes away from the beach, has a great location, it is a bit far from the train station. However, cable car is a minute away and takes you to the town center. I liked the furniture, it was nice! Staff was friendly and nice to me. It was a great stay! The only tiny thing I didn't like was that check out was 10:30, but staff were nice to me and I checked out a bit later.

Yep, I stayed here with my wife for 3 days. Here are some facts:
1. Quick access to
1.1. lift to upper (main) town via lift (3eur per person)
1.2. quick access to general grocery/pharmacy
1.3. quick access to 2 great beaches (ask locals where)
2. The restaurant - I have been to 7 different places in Italy in 7 days and this little restaurant wins overall. Tried 2 pizzas - diavolo and some beers were more than average. My wife did some antipasti? Said was very good.
3. Room - simple and best of 2 stars I would expect. Medium sound conditioner, balcony, bathroom, bed - maybe too hard but overall good.
4. Breakfast was sweet and consistent good overall for my taste.
Everything is biased on my personal taste.
P.s. if owner or someone from staff is reading - please sharpen the knives, they are very blunt.

We arrived on 17th June to stay for nine nights.Our allocated room was spacious air conditioned and very clean. The bathroom facilities were excellent with a large open shower (constant hot water) wash basin and bidet. The wardrobe and drawers provided were more than adequate to hold all of our holiday attire. The cases we brought were lodged under the spare bed out of sight. The bedding was changed every other day and towels were changed daily.The maid cleaned every day.The manager Enrico could not have been more helpful as we found on many occasions(suggesting restaurants,the opera and other outings).Mario who looked after the bar and waited on us at breakfast was especially friendly and such a competent worker,as were the other staff.The beach is very close with a snack bar and a really good restaurant There are lots of good eating places nearby.We favoured La Marina restaurant a short walk from the hotel ,good food and great service.The cable car is also a short walk from the hotel taking you up to Catanias town which is a must to see. We would highly recommend this hotel especially friendly staff and the quality of service.The surroundings are beautiful,people are friendly and it is such a peaceful part of the world.We will hopefully revisit Sicily in the near future and return to the Gallodoro.

Very good experience. Small and very cosy hotel.
Never had the feeling it was crowded or busy.
Clean and big enough room. Good bed. Had a bit more of a b&b feeling.

It was a very pleasant stay.. the hotel is clean the breakfast is delicious we found a lot of employees who were ready to help us
If I had to mention a cons it is the problem of finding the hotel since the location on Google maps is not the right location and we had to walk a long distance
But I really recommend the hotel I will surely go to the same hotel if I had to go to taormina again

Perfect location, good restaurant

Beatiful place to stay!

Super accueil aussi bien à la réception qu’au restaurant. Une belle terrasse avec vue sur la mer au petit -déjeuner. La chambre style monacal au niveau décoration. La douche mérite d’être modernisée, ça ne serait pas un luxe.
Le choix pour les petits -déjeuners n’est pas du tout à la hauteur. Les viennoiseries sont parfois représentées deux ou trois jours de suite, donc rassis. Les jus de fruits sont trop dilués. le buffet n’est pas très généreux.
Les femmes de chambre ne font pas les lits ! Elles tirent juste le drap du dessus. Pas très agréable de se coucher dans un lit tout froissé !
Prix très raisonnable .A recommander !
Néanmoins, agréable séjour,! réceptionniste au top toujours souriante et les serveurs de même. Nous avons eu une chambre standard car l’hôtel était complet.

Hotel jest bardzo schludny i przyjemny. W hotelu zjecie bardzo dobre śniadania. Obsługa jest przemiła. Z chęcią tam jeszcze wrócę.

È una ex Villa riadattata ad hotel. Situata in posizione spettacolare fronte mare, dall’altra parte del promontorio c’è l’isola bella. Camera comoda con aria condizionata e colazione dolce e salata. I bagni sono nuovi ma da migliorare l’ergonomia di rubinetti e wc: scomodi i primi e troppo alti i secondi.

Personale gentilissimo e accogliente. Stanze molto belle spaziose e con ingresso indipendente con aria condizionata e dotate di cassaforti, bagno grande e anche la doccia. Cambio asciugamani giornaliero. Il parcheggio non è grandissimo pertanto per usufruirne meglio bloccarlo al momento della prenotazione dell'hotel, altrimenti, se fortunati fuori ad esso è gratuito (ma sempre pieno). Colazione molto buona a buffet mentre per caffè, cappuccino ecc...prendono l'ordine i camerieri, pizza buonissima ma secondo me molto cara! Il punto dove si trova è comodissimo per arrivare in spiaggia e/o alla funivia che porta a Taormina. Da tornarci.

Vista meravigliosa, camere pulite e accoglienti. Un posto che rimane nel cuore.

Posizione perfetta, bellissima la terrazza che da sul mare sul quale fare colazione o mangiare; camera grande, pulita e dotata di tutti i confort.
Personale gentile e preparato.
Assolutamente consigliato; bravi!

Ottima struttura, con prezzi morigerati, cortesia e premure del personale.
Ottima pulizia, vicino alla funivia per Taormina e alle spiagge, compresa quella della suggestiva ed incantevole Isola Bella, da non perdere assolutamente, nonostante la lunga rampa di scale.
Ma ne vale la pena!
Inoltre la struttura offre il posteggio in loco su prenotazione.
Consigliabile senza ombra di dubbio.
