Bar - Bistro - Pizzeria "Gallodoro"

Beautiful view of bay from terrace. Roberto provided excellent service and helped with menu decisions. The cost was reasonable with Aperol Spritz, meal and desert for 30 eur per person. We ate several meals and a breakfast and enjoyed all.

It’s our second time in Taormina and we’ve been twice at the Hotel Villino Gallodoro.

We’ve booked the room with private balcony with view to the bay.
Spacious room, aircon, big bed.

We’ve had breakfast on our balcony almost every morning and a few dinners too as the villino has its own restaurant! Exceptionally comfortable to have it right outside of your bedroom.

It can be a bit loud in the evening if unit room faces the restaurant but we didn’t mind.

Staff is lovely and accommodating.

They have tiny parking space on site for roughly 7 cars and a number of motorbikes which is great! They charge around £10/£15 per day.

Food at the restaurant is nice and priced like everywhere in Taormina, around £15 for mains. Usually you can spend £50 in two.

It’s 5 min walk from the cable car to Taormina (£6 per person with return or £10 for a daily ticket), minutes away from the Lido La Pigna e Lido il Delfino.

This is an underrated spot! Excellent pizza and bruschetta! Definitely give it a try! Enjoyed the beer too!

I don’t why so many people write it‘s the worst pizza. I’m very picky. But that is a good to great pizza! And the location is top. Waiters are nice. Enjoy!

We entered the place first and then read the reviews while waiting for the food. The rating was 3.1 and people wrote they had to wait for the food, but with us everything went really smoothly. The amount of waiting time was reasonable, and the food delicious. There was an amazing sea view from our table so we are giving this place 5 stars. It was reasonably priced as well, so totally recommend.

The food is great and they gave me extra ham without any extra coats. I wanted to order a piña colada, but they were out of coconut, so they gave me a similar drink, but if I didn’t like it, I wouldn’t have to pay. The drink was alright. The waiters are super nice and were joking around I really recommend this place. They even remembered us the next time around (three days later) and than we ordered the Tiramisu and it was great.
