Lido La Pigna

I have spent 6 wonderful days here, in this beach club. Sunbed and umbrella cost 30 eur / person. During weekend there were no places left, all booked, so highly recommend to book early. You can see people coming to the empty sunbeds all day long and in few minutes staff approach them and in very polite way explain that booking is needed and nothing might be free for today (best example for next door young staff, who need to learn how to treat customers). They have service at the beach, so you can order drink or food and enjoy the view. Food was also delicious.

This beach is surrounded by fancy hotels who own their own beach, if you are not a client you cannot swim. They will send you to the far end with locals, there is a little restaurant at the end where you can buy some food. Bring your own umbrella and water.

A beautiful location right next to the cable car. Great service from Thomas and outstanding food at the restaurant. The sunbeds are also excellent, with towel service provided.

All the dishes were really tasty and not that expensive compared to the general prices. Pizza Siciliana was super good and saw some fish and pasta come out that looked amazing. View is awesome too.

We went to Iso Bella looking for a place to spend the day by the water on the sand, and this place was the best choice on the Mazzano side.

Glad we went here. Chair and towel rentals were reasonably priced at €30 for the day, drinks were reasonable between €8-15 and served on the beach. Food, served at the restaurant right off the beach with a view, was €50 for a full pizza, a giant octopus salad, a very nicely cooked swordfish steak, and a tasty Tartufo Affogato dessert. The swordfish was incredible and I was impressed by the freshness of the food considering this is a beach restaurant and in my experience these tend to be hit or miss. Definitely a hit in this case.

Right on the water and across the street from the gondola, and serviced by polite guys who double as lifeguards.

Recommend for a chill day in Taormina!

Wonderful spot on the beach and great service from the staff. Highly recommend this beach club. Would definitely recommend booking so secure your spot. Food and drink also decent. Definitely one of the best beach clubs around and not crazy expensive.

Loved our day at La Pigna!

Service was friendly and efficient and the beach is beautiful and typically Italian in its style.

We had breakfast on our sunbeds - they serve a great cappuccino and toasted sandwich. And we had lunch at the seafood restaurant tucked away at the other end of the beach.

You get access to showers, changing rooms and clean toilets when at La Pigna. We also used their shuttle service. Just make sure you book as they were turning lots of people away on the day we were there.

I’ve been visiting Lido La Pigna for years and this place deserves 5++ in every category. The Lido Is breathtaking, the beach service is 5 Stars! The food is 5 Stars! I highly recommend eating at the restaurant where every dish is absolutely fantastic and priced just right. Honestly some of the best food in Taormina.

Skip the crowds that White Lotus brought to Isola Bella, and walk the extra 5 minutes to get to Lido.

You can reserve your beach chair, get drinks to your spot and pop up to the rather delicious restaurant overlooking the sea.

Save for some aggressive pigeons, this place is an underrated gem that allows you get that beach day in that you crave.

Sicilian Pizza was delicious, as were the Limoncello Spritz.

We stopped here after visiting Taormina for a few hours. This was well worth the effort. Our kids enjoyed the beach while we had some great food and drinks. Be careful of the jellyfish in the ocean, Other than our niece being stung we had a fantastic afternoon and had some delicious food. Also the restaurant gave her some cream to help with the sting which was very nice of them. Overall this capped off our afternoon and it was a perfect day.

Easy to reach by funicular from Taormina . 50 euro for brolly and sun beds for two. Facilities clean. Staff friendly. Beautiful beach. Lunch was very good, a huge portion of fresh mussels in pepper and grilled King prawns. Best to book as place is very popular

Fantastic little beach club! Clear water, nice grainy stone beach, seventies look and feel of the sun beds and umbrellas. Friendly and attentive staff and good food! Pizza and cold peroni on the beach is unbeatable! Surprisingly pricey though, for the sunbeds, 50€ for two beds is too much in my opinion. But if that’s your budget, then Lido La Pigna is just that low key, rustic seventies style taverna beach club to try out! I recommend it absolutely!

If you're looking for relaxation, this place is it!! If I could give more than 5 *'s, I would! We visited La Pigna beach and restaurant pretty much every day of our holiday. Yes the sun beds are €25/pp but the service is 5*! Nothing is too much, you don't have to leave your lounger all day, everything is brought to you. The Tricolore ham pizza is amazing, coffees are wonderful and all of the staff give you a warm welcome and a smile. The views are the best from any restaurant in Mazarro! We enjoyed a homemade Granita (the fig flavour is AMAZING!) and Brioche every morning in the quiet restaurant before the rush of people! Make sure to book your space on the beach a few days the before so you get a good spot! You won't be disappointed, this place was the highlight of our holiday!

Beautiful setting, complete menu. Quiet service. We came to enjoy being seaside without sitting on the pebbly beach. WiFi's a little wobbly but good enough. 50€ for an umbrella and two chairs. 5€ for a couple of cokes and the same view, sounds, air from the restaurant.

We had an amazing lunch on the terrace here. Super relaxed environment. The zucchini bruscheta with red shrimp was really great. Ask for Simon. We wouldn’t hesitate to return. Great for kids and to go to the beach.

Wow! This place is so awesome a restaurant with amazing food and I know food, calamari (fantastic) norma pasta best in Sicily (local dish) and they made us a sautee of clams that was divine…beautiful beach, restaurant + service a 10+ wow! Best restaurant in Taormina hands down…

Good location and water. Two sunbeds and umbrella was €50, bit expensive but par for the course in Taormina. The restaurant and bar is really good and service is quick and friendly. Prosciutto, smoked mozzarella and sundried tomato panino was top 👌😋

Nice beach club, 25eur per person for a lounge and umbrella. Great service, guys are quick to deliver food and you can pay by card or cash from your lounge location. Cocktails around 10euros, various food (pizzas, paninis, etc.). Great cocktails (had strawberry daiquiri, aperol spritz, fig vodka cocktail. All taste great!
