Trailhead to Taormina (Goethe path)

Amazing view and let’s be honest is the way to up to Taormina. If you do not use bus to go up. If I would not have the backpack in 35 degrees probably I would enjoy the hike up as the view is priceless and breathtaking believe me. Is worth to go up on this path once in your life and look down to the amazing coloured water.

Nice hike from the train station, average level of fitness required

Useful though tiring access from train to Taormina.

Prachtige wandelroute. Vanaf het treinstation Taormina Giardinni naar het centrum van Taormina is dit de kortste route wandelend. Doe goede schoenen aan (sneakers) geen slippers. Af en toe wel even stoppen om de prachtige uitzichten te bekijken en om op adem te komen. Als je een beetje conditie hebt is dit echt prima te doen. Met kinderen geen aanrader. Naar beneden in het donker is ook goed te doen. Neem wel een zaklampje mee.

Хорошая парковка для кемперов на ночь. Красивые виды. Спуск из города вниз пешком тяжелый. Подъем вообще только для тренированных и сильных.

Csodaszép hely, fél órás séta a vasútállomástól fel Taormina cuki városába.
Kis örvény, könnyű séta, csodálatos kilátás tengerre végig.
Érdemes ezen sétálni és nem buszozni, különleges élmény.

Beau sentier pour joindre Taormina

Steiler, aber guter Weg nach Taormina. Ca. 30 Minute. Unten gibt es kostenlose Parkplätze!

Wunderbare Aussicht, der Weg ist geschottert und sollte mit festem Schuhwerk begangen werden, teilweise recht steil, tolle Aussicht aber wenig Schatten

Przyjemna trasa piesza. Bez problemu można dojść do taorminy z giardini ta trasą-najpierw przez pare minut trzeba iść przy ruchliwej drodze poboczem (na sycylii ewidentnie nie lubią chodników) ale warto.

Just take the bus, if you have any common sense whatsoever, especially if you have luggage. The views are breathtaking, but if you’re not in shape your breath will literally be taken away. I hiked up at noon, with a backpack and 36 sleepless hours and it seemed like it would never end, stairs just kept appearing. Even downwards it’s hard on the knees, but otherwise much more tolerable. With all that said, the view really does make up for the pain.

Don’t come unprepared. I almost died going up only to have free parking haha

C'est effectivement un bon spot pour de jolies photos. Par contre ça monte, tout le temps. Je savais même pas qu'on pouvait faire des routes aussi pentues.
Si vous avez le moindre doute, c'est qu'il vous faut prendre le bus. Vraiment.
