Hotel Italia Siena

Great location. Less than ten minutes’ walk from the train station using the long escalator. Around 2km to Siena center. Staff very friendly. Gave us a free map and shared everything we need to know about the city. Good breakfast. Spacious room. Will stay here if I visit again.

I recommend to write in advance that you are vegan, so you can have a lot of options.
The rooms are clean and beautiful and the energy here is so nice and calm, vegan friendly and eco friendly.

Had a wonderful stay at this classy beautiful hotel. Like other reviewers said, what stands out the most is the free breakfast -- gorgeous spacious room with lots of selections, much better than the paid continental breakfasts at 4 and 5 star hotels. A special thank-you to Valentina, who works so diligently to refill all the food and beverages quickly, with a big smile to everyone.

Location was quite a short walk from the Station itself and on top of that, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast served had a Wide variety of options, and they all tasted exceptionally good. Rooms have a very nice atmosphere and are decorated with a really nice vibe. However, if with 4 people, the room does get quite cramped and squeezy.

Great location, within walking distance from the train station; up the incredible escalator from the train station, then just down the street.

The room was great, wonderful big bathroom, and a great view out the window. We were on the 3rd floor. The location is perfect for getting into Siena and there are some excellent restaurants and other shops right on the same street as the hotel. The breakfast was terrific and the staff was top-notch.

Boutique hotel conveniently located to the historic district (10 minute walk) and about 5 minute walk from the train station. Breakfast was amazing! Rooms are clean and staff is super nice. There is also a self service laundromat across the street that comes handy for backpackers. Plenty of restaurants around. I 100% recommend this place if you stay in Siena!

This is a delightful hotel in a quiet area but only a fifteen minute walk from the centre of Siena. The room was very comfortable and I even had a balcony. Cleanliness throughout the hotel was very good. The breakfast was varied and of a good quality. You can even make your own pancakes! However, the reason for the five stars is the staff. They were all friendly and helpful at all times even when I was practising my Italian with them! There was nothing they would not do for us. So I would recommend this hotel and would certainly stay here again.

Good location just outside Sienna. Very friendly staff at the 24/24 hour reception. Great (big) breakfast. Great and clean room. Easy check in and out. The parking was a bit small and not so easy to access. But they cleaned our carwindows just before our departure! So who am I to complain!

Wonderful hotel, especially the incredibly friendly and helpful staff. The room was beautiful, clean, spacious and had a wonderful view. The air-conditioning was very effective.

Maybe in future the prices could be made clearer/more visible when using the pool in Hotel Garden - the small bottle of wine was mysteriously €2 more expensive when we visited a second time. The shaved-haired man who served us that day was also the only unfriendly member of staff in either hotel. A minor quibble in an otherwise perfect stay in Siena.

Location is slightly off the downtown, but is cosy and quiet, and also very close to the bus stop. Getting to the main town square takes around 15-20 minutes walking.

Fantastic experience staying at Hotel Italia Siena. The staff were very helpful and friendly...simply delightful to talk with and appreciative of my very limited Italian language skills. The rooms are charming and very clean. Breakfast was very good and well presented by the staff. I would certainly stay there again and highly recommend the hotel.

Maximum score from us. Close to the station and old city, very helpful staff, comfortable bed, large room, great view and excellent and well organised breakfast (semi-buffet). A great stay overall, will definitely return in we come back to Siena

I cant say enough about this hotel. Great service and lovely rooms. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. It's a perfect hotel to stay in to experience Siena, especially if you are using the train. Walking distance to the old city - Il Duomo, Piazza del Campo, etc. Highly recommend.

One of the best hotels I have stayed at in Italy. Real class and a lot of taste, genuinely friendly reception staff, and what a fantastic breakfast. Location is about a 3-minute walk to the western gate of the old town, and about 20 minutes through to the other side of the old town, where the main square is. Rooms are a bit dark and small, but real cozy.

Hotel and staff are lovely, and the hotel location is superb. I left back a cherished piece of clothing in the hotel room, and staff member Davide went out of his way to make sure it found its way back to me. Great service! I will be happy to return.

Amazing hotel, the staff were exceptionally welcoming... after visiting Florence we realise the people Siena are much nicer and welcoming. Looking forward to staying here again soon. Staff more than happy to help with parking, make reservations, suggest places to eat and places to visit. Cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Great location, very close to the train station and 5min walking from the old town. Staff friendly and efficient. I got a small room because I were alone and It was perfect with amenities and as good shower. Good breakfast.

Very friendly, English speaking, staff; fairly basic but clean and well decorated rooms;small bar. *Excellent breakfast!*Free parking on nearby streets (or at Hotel itself if prebooked). Definitely recommended!
