Osteria del Bramante

We spent a week in Roccaverano, stayed at Albergho Bramante. Simone, his Sister and Mother looked after us like family. In the day the bar serves drinks and delicious appetisers. At night the Osteria up stairs serves delicious local fare, paired with excellent local wines.

The place is a must visit when in Roccaverano.

Wonderful place. Terrace on an historical Piazza next to the main church. Food is outstanding with typical Piemontese dishes. Gluten-free variants available.

Osteria del Bramante is one of our favorite destinations the Piedmont. We live in this area part of the year and have identified our favorite restaurants. This has earned its place as one of our special destinations. In addition to quality food, the service and atmosphere make a marvelous experience. An absolute must for anyone, even remotely in the area of Roccaverano.
Simonè and his team go above-and-beyond for an unforgettable experience, whether it’s just a quick coffee and dessert, or their full dining menu (hmmm… that veal… and pasta… and, and, and…).
The area is well known for their cheese too, and along with Simonè’s exceptional wine list, you’re in for a superb treat.
Never mind that this is all set in a charming village, nestled atop the picturesque hills of Piedmont.

Wonderful food in the open air in a very small hilltop town. Good menu and well presented food.

A very local place. I liked it very much as one can sit either inside or outside, the menu is limited, but the dishes we ordered were quickly served and were all tasty. Prices are very reasonable and one can buy here the fanous local goat cheese (Robiola DOP) and some other products. Highly recommended!

absolutely delicious. One of the best pasta I had in Italy. If you ask for the tables on the second floor it'll be les crowded and cooler.

We had a vegan meal and it was unbelievable, really excellent! The service also was very nice. On top of it all la cuccina served us a delicious vegan cake as a present for our celebration! She said it was her first vegan cake and it was perfect. Like a cloud with a crunchy edge. Thank you very much. A dopo!

A very nice down to earth osteria. Nice interior, service is very friendly and do their utmost to help in English.
The food is honest, fresh and very tasteful. In combination with beautiful local wines this is a worthwhile place for lunch or diner.
Price is very good. €25 for 2 starters, primo and secondi, dolce and coffee

A taste of real Piemonte, absolutely delicious and very reasonable. The family who run it are charming. The village is also well worth a visit.
