Amphitheatre of Paestum

To the east of the Italic Temple is a small Anfiteatro or Roman Amphiteater.
Central element of Roman Paestum, the amphitheater was built around 50 BC to towards the end of the 1st century AD. An external ring has been added to increase its capacity.
Only the southern half of theater is still visible. In 1930, Highway 18 was built across the site, burying the northern half. The road was designed to pass by the ruins in order to provide the experience of seeing the ruins up close, but without thinking about what was still hidden. It is said by local inhabitants that the civil engineer responsible was tried, convicted and received a prison sentence for what was described as wanton destruction of a historic site.

Anfiteatro molto bello, anche se vi rimane una piccola parte

Luogo stupendo, estremamente emozionale, da visitare assolutamente.

Una realtà storica unica.
Mantenuto alla perfezione e controllato da alcune persone costantemente.
Abbiamo visitato l’anfiteatro direttamente dall’interno ed è stata un’esperienza pazzesca.
Abbiamo pagato circa 15€ un ridotto e un normale per visitare tutto compreso il museo, con altri 10€ avremmo potuto avere anche una visita guidata che per chi ha un po’ di tempo non sarebbe male farla.

ミュージアムが閉まっていて見れなかったのは残念でしたが、ガイドブックは入り口のショップで買えました。遺跡がほとんど残ってないというコメントもありますが、私は逆にこんなに綺麗な状態で神殿の形が残っていることに驚きました。（地震の多い日本で生まれ育ったからかもしれませんが。）時空を超えた同じ地球で暮らしていた人々を想像したり、高層ビルのない広い空を見上げ、忙しい観光の中、心落ち着くひとときを過ごせました。３年前に電車で訪れましたが、今でも忘れられない場所の一つです。

Un monument qui surprend par ses "modestes" dimensions. En effet, comme la ville antique de Poseidonia, il est que très partiellement excavé.

Annesso al parco archeologico di Paestum, l'anfiteatro resta uno dei punti più visitati dello stesso sito.

Noch sehr gut sichtbar ist dieses alte Theater in der Archäologischen Anlage.

Poséidonia était une colonie grecque fondée en 600 av. J.-C. sur la côte tyrrhénienne, au sud de Salerne. Après la soumission de l'Italie du sud par Rome, marquée par la prise de Tarente, la cité devient une colonie romaine, déduite et rebaptisée à l'occasion Paestum en 273-272 av. J.-C., nom le plus couramment utilisé pour désigner le site de nos jours. Elle se trouve sur le territoire de la commune actuelle de Capaccio-Paestum, en Campanie.

C'est aujourd'hui un important parc archéologique, doté d'un vaste musée exposant les nombreuses découvertes réalisées sur le site lors des fouilles menées depuis la fin du xviiie siècle. Le parc archéologique est un des plus vastes d'Italie du sud, permettant d'admirer divers vestiges monumentaux datant des diverses phases d'occupation du site : trois temples grecs doriques (époques archaïque et classique), divers édifices communautaires (ecclesiasterion, amphithéâtre, forum), ainsi que des éléments d'habitats formant une trame urbaine orthogonale datant pour l'essentiel de l'époque hellénistique et romaine. Le site est inscrit depuis 1998 sur la liste du Patrimoine mondial de l'humanité établie par l'Unesco. Il fait partie du Parc national du Cilento et du Val de Diano.

Sito archeologico bellissimo e ben conservato. Luogo incantevole. Durante la visita sembra essere proiettati indietro nel tempo. Ogni pietra che lo compone ha il suo fascino. Ben curato e ricco di reperti il museo.

Las ruinas arqueológicas de templos griegos mejor conservadas en el mundo. Un lugar realmente hermoso. El precio caro €12 por persona cuando puedes tu Omar fotos desde fuera y encontrar la.historia en internet. Pero si quieres gastar ese dinero es una buena inversión.
